I've got problems with electronic wallet... I always end up spending the BTC and I would like to put parts of the holding in a secured place disconected from everywhere.

Any advice on which hardware wallet to use?

Don't want to pay tons of money on one but I still need something qualitative!

Only three hardware wallets that I know.

  • Ledger nano s
  • Trezor
  • Keepkey

But base on: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/hardware/

There's also Digital Bitbox.

I'm using Ledger nano s and I prefer using it, you just missed it's black friday sale but its still on 30% off  for their winter sale holidays special offer.

I may have something which you may find interesting which is kinda esoteric and is definitely not connected to the internet. Although I'm reluctant to go into more details here, as i'm hoping on bringing the concept to the market sometime next year.

Why not a paper wallet? It's free, totally secure as long as it's created properly, easily stored, no software updates and a right pain up the arse to spend from. Keep sending to it and the balance will pile up nicely until the day comes to crack it open.

Happy to say that using hardware wallet is very good and it is secure and difficult for hackers to hack the wallet so it can used by offline also....

I always scare to use this wallet and I don't why. But actually it seems securest way of holding cryptocurrencies.

I saw a hardware wallet in blockchain.com. It name is Lockbox. Can you hear it or know it? It is written that "secure checkcout by Ledger. Is it a product of Ledger?

Ledger Nano or Trezor are the best choices by far. They are both well established and independently tested to do what they say they do. My personal preference is the Ledger, and they have a 30% off sale at the moment. I know you said you don't want to spend too much money, but I wouldn't try to save 10 or 20 bucks by buying a second hand device or from a third party. It's not worth the risk

This is bad advice. You should never store coins you aren't actively trading on an exchange.

Sure, it will not be the cheapest, today seen on Twitter SatoshiLabs launches a Trezor Special Edition Metallic, only 300 pieces, December 12, 12:12 CET.

https://twitter.com/trezor?lang=en

(If you do not want to spend money, the best thing is a paper wallet.)

Could you be more spesific about 'electronic wallet' ? if you having problem with web wallet, you can use hard wallet indeed.
But using hard wallet is not free, you need to buy it unlike web wallet or client wallet.
ledger s nano or trezor is the most popular wallet in cryptocurrency world, you can use them.

For providing the best security only hardware wallets are there. You can use Ledger nano s or trezor which are the best secure hardware wallets out there if you are not ready to pay for them you can use the paper wallet which is free but hardware wallets will be the best choice.

Paper wallet totally free? Although I have little knowledge about it Security and others advantages to long time stored. Because i'm lover of Hardware Wallet Ladger Nano S there are a lot of safety and friendly user and can easily to get it from big online shopping like amazon or alibaba etc. Many people's  have used it for a long time.

For long term stored coinbase how much effective? i treated this is a big exchange money platform and most of the people always using this. Strongly secured but you can only set mobile verification/2FA for safety. There are many different between Coinbase and Hardware wallet.
