Gold is older and more stable value than bitcoin. If you want to earn money, you should buy bitcoin, because price for it is grown up.

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
If I will choose between bitcoin or gold,I will choose gold because I gold proved that its value will never decreased. I am still not sure to what future that the bitcoin will face. The price of gold also is more stable than bitcoin.

maybe gold security is better than bitcoin. but bitcoin is more volatile than gold. so bitcoin prices are very expensive or down very quickly. that's what makes bitcoin a lot of investment. in contrast to relatively stable gold prices and very little to take profit
I will not go with your statement because if bitcoin is not secure more than gold at least then I think no one would invest in bitcoin, it is the safety and the security of bitcoin that attract the people towards bitcoin and they invest in it. Now a lot of people are here who think like this and prefer gold than bitcoin but it become hard for them to hold too much gold for the long time in future and it could be dangerous too.

This is wise logic and really the question is more of a 'would you go all in or bitcoin or not' and anyone with an ounce of sense knows that it's not wise to do such a thing. In the last 10 years gold has risen maybe 50% of which most will be eaten by inflation and so is a safe investment and pretty much similar to just not investing in a large sense.

Realistically, I would choose gold.
I really like bitcoin and the selling price is also very high.
I strongly believe in bitcoin in the next 5 years.
Because bitcoin in my country is still illegal and there has been no approval from the state government.
If gold is legal in my country and the selling price is also high. Its protection also complies with state government regulations.

I'll choose gold. Because it is something that its value will not decrease. It is somthing that you see, hold and even keep. While bitcoin, it is unstable.

I've read stuff that suggests gold is being artificially depressed by the issuance of paper-gold (E.g. COMEX) and that there is a day of reckoning coming for it (A big upwards correction).

There'll certainly be lots of demand for gold if the buyback bubble pops. Or the bond bubble for that matter.

I think as well that gold is a consumable asset (think about all the tech that requires gold in circuitry nowadays as well as jewellery and such) so demand is always going to be high for it.

BTC has oodles of competition now and it's plagued by internal strife. So I moved to being a BTC skeptic and I short-sell bitcoin from time to time while also looking for a big long-term short against it. I mean think about it, why would you pick BTC which has HUGE problems such as massive transaction times and such when you can use something faster, more advanced, and better features? BTC is slowly being outcompeted and I think in the end it has to evolve or die.

So, looking with a view to the future (a long term perspective) I'd go short on BTC if anything and long on gold.

Yes, you're right, gold is being artificially depressed by the issuance of paper-gold.

Yet, cryptocurrencies have qualities that gold does not have : they are easier to carry,  more fractionable, they are the modern money of the internet.

If the crypto market collapses, gold will be remember as the heaven safe asset as it has always been. Just read history books
The possibility of a crushed crypto may exist for some reason as the rule of all governments around the world forbids the circulation of the crypto currency. of course that is a bad thing for cryptocurrency. therefore I always make a backup plan. ie set aside my money for another investment that is gold.

bitcoin, because bitcoin will have a high price, while gold will be unstable and influenced by the dollar
Bitcoin is more and more excellent then gold because gold price is very low as compare to bitcoin and people wish to make more profit in less time and this is only possible with working with bitcoin and also working with bitcoin is easy than gold.

Gold and real estate are the backup way for my investment.
Bitcoin can increases its value to high price within short time, but the price of Bitcoin can dumps faster than the time it spent to raise more value.
While Gold and real estate are always neccessary for all the people of the world, the demand is unlimited.

Between the two heavy means of wealth in the world, gold and bitcoin, I would answer bitcoin. It is not that I don’t see the value of gold but we are now entering in the new generation of currency. Before, gold was everything, for a long period of time. Suddenly, cash took the position of the center of the focus of the world, and now, it is the digital currency, more specifically the age of bitcoin. As the technology continues to evolve, it is by that bitcoin has to be chosen between this two.

You are correct mate - bitcoin can be really the future of currency. But to be honest, both bitcoin and gold are best investment vehicle long term or short term. Gold is long term while bitcoin can be both short and long term.

Gold, hands down

But we know this two is the best wealth in the world, gold and bitcoin. Bitcoin is for trading. I'll go for gold because it is a long term investment, while bitcoin is a short or long term investment. We do not have any assurance if it is short or long term.

Each and everyone of us has different perspective, either bitcoin or gold. For me I would choose bitcoin since it is very demand and most dominant crypto currency in the cyberworld. It also have a good value which gives a good profit since it still increasing as of this time. Unlike gold, but still a good value and the risk situation will be a visible to those thief and bad people and making there mind doing something wrong since gold is valuable that last for lifetime.

To gain more aggressive profits, I am more interested investing in bitcoins. Because growth is quite significant and have better liquidity in my opinion. While gold is for hedge and not an investment.

and I very clearly will always choose bitcoin rather than gold, because if we choose bitcoin we can multiply the assets we have we can be due to the rise and fall of bitcoin prices.
