Been holding bitcoin as I believe the future will be bigger as adoption will definitely increase which will create bigger demands resulting to increase in value. |

Been holding bitcoin as I believe the future will be bigger as adoption will definitely increase which will create bigger demands resulting to increase in value. I would have to invest 60% in bitcoins and 40% in gold as gold is not going to grow very high in the coming 10 years, whereas bitcoin is still young and the day many peoples tart adopting it, the value of bitcoin is sure to go very high. |

Without reading the entire thread, I would guess most prefer BTC as it is decentralized.
Gold has been 'managed' by the big worldwide banks as it is a threat to the US Dollar and other currencies.
I speculate that the libertarians that have invested in Gold/Silver will be rolling out of their positions as the price rises. What to do with the proceeds? -> Cryptos...
Why do you think bitcoin is not manipulated? I would choose gold because it is more promising, but for many years to come I do not know if Bitcoin has a higher price than gold or it has lower prices and fewer users, surely many people are thinking like me. They also fear losing money |

It's an endless discussion. If you want to invest, gold is a bad choice, as its value is always relatively stable and you don't have the possibility to make big gains.
But if you are looking for safety, of course gold is the best choice.

I will prefer to invest in gold. Gold business is not as volatile as Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. Gold since the history of time has been know to increase in value. Bitcoin could increase or decrease depending on several factors. Gold investment is more secured, Bitcoin and Blockchain are susceptible to hackers. In my own opinion, Gold investment is better.

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I should choose bitcoin because as far as I know bitcoin is the future currency in the world. Also bitcoin's value keeps on increasing which can make my money bigger and it may help me a lot. Bitcoin is a good source of money too. |

I'd still choose gold too. Bitcoins price could increase amd decrease but golds value will never decrease. Gold is very rare, so its demand is high and the price could be more higher than expected. |

For now I prefer bitcoin than gold, this is because gold promises more profits than gold, very fast price increase bitcoin while gold prices never change for a year.

I think bitcoin if you want to make money in the short term, while long-term we choose the gold that can be stored in banks around the world.
There will be hardly anyone there in this world who in spite of having some good amount of money will go for investing his money into gold when he is having this option of investing hi money into bitcoin. Investing into bitcoin actually means that you are going to have far more money in return than your actual amount of investment and that you will be able to live a very comfortable life. in some ways your right mate why need to invest in gold while theres big potential of gaining more profit in bitcoin,but the thing is bitcoin is advisable for long term investment though same as gold the thing is bitcoin is virtual and gold is physical.people feel more secured if they can see their treasury filled with their assets than seeing it from online wallet. I think the best way is dividing the amount in both gold and bitcoin so there would be no regrets and issues on where to put the funds |

Gold can be said as a safe asset. But at the same time, you can't say that it is a 100% risk-free asset. Gold, in physical form can be stolen by the thieves or confiscated by the authorities. In digital form, gold ETFs can become worthless if the bank or institution issuing them becomes bankrupt. |

If I choose between bitcoin and gold I choose gold. because I'm a pragmatist. I do not like risky. Bitcoin can change constantly and disappear and gold is long lasting and stable. You can store gold but can not store it

I chose both, half for gold investment and the other half for bitcoin investment. I think it is very risky to put investments in one place. |

For now if i can't keep it for long i will go for gold cause bitcoin currency rate right now is up and down so it's not sure if it can last to high price whill gold still have a high exchange rate.

I will not change the wealth that I have in one investment because it will be risky. I prefer to divide it, half for gold investment and the other half for bitcoin investment. |
