Bitcoin is a really food investment asset. I've invested for a long time now my money in bitcoins and it did not dissapointed me until now. I can't invest mu money on gold because I can't really hold them, not like bitcoin I can carry whenever or wherever I want.

Let us not forget the fact that Bitcoin is a volatile currency, meaning it is an unstable currency. Which is not suited for investing, in investing you are looking for stability in which you are seeing consistent growth. Bitcoin has the possibility of sudden price drops everyday with a really long time to recover just look at what happened last year Bitcoin's price drop to a low at 500$ for about 3 month  before it crawled back to 700$. If you are an investor you are avoiding this kinds of scenarios as this is bad for your money in many ways (selling at a loss is one).

I do not think so, gold may be more stable than bitcoin but the value of gold will never be greater than bitcoin in the future because in recent years, the value of gold is very stable and it is rising very little, without too much volatility and demand for gold has fallen but bitcoin in recent years, the value of bitcoin is constantly increasing and demand for use has increased, Bitcoin is becoming more popular and growing stronger. If this situation continues for the next 10 years, the value of bitcoin will be greater than gold. I can say bitcoin is the future, gold is just the past, the best is should invest Bitcoin

Both have a good value and its not the thing for us to focus if you do invest on bitcoins and gold you have a better options and surely a good profit there .both have an advantage and disadvantages but taking on those advantage will make your life good. Its a risk but that is how investment goes for you to earn. It only needs time to harvest your profits.

I don't think the value of gold would have a lower potential any time since it has been there for ages already. But bitcoin anonymity makes it valuable but it's price would be in danger due to fees required for every transaction.

no doubt that gold has a good potential, but still we cannot expect the price of gold to increase too much in next few months even years. while the price of bitcoin is really too much expected that increase more and more, its price is already trading above 1300 and very close to touch 1400 USD adn still it is expected that the price of bitcoin will cross 2000 USD at the end of 2017.

That's not really correct. I do agree that Bitcoin is used more as a form of money than gold. However you can easily liquidate gold to make an investment as well.

Thinking it really through, the whole point becomes almost irrelevant, because anytime you're making an investment, you are no longer holding Bitcoin nor gold, so there is no inherent advantage of any of these two assets other than the perceived ease of conversion to another asset.

but i think it is different from person to person as some people like short term investment, while other peopole like long term in vestment. in short term investment you need to be a good decision take as you will take very strong decision from time to time so if you have some good experience in short term investment you can surely show good result.
