It depends on you,you can create your buy and sell order in the localbitcoins and the prices will be based on how much percentage you have given.It is not an exchange it is an site which provides automated escrow to trade between two random users.

That would really depend on how you make time to do it there. You could also try arbitraging, but it would take a lot of time.

Yes you can and I know some people who are making good money out of it , it is sort of bitcointalk , when you trade more on it you get more feedback and people would rather to buy from those who have more positive feedbacks , also as you trade more you get more familiar in your area and you get more offers then , I like that platform , it is very solid and if you get verified there you get a number under your profile which shows you are verifies or nor ,and i'd rather to trade with verified ones .

In my opinion exchanges are earning very huge amount. Even local exchangers in every country are also earning handsome amount. It depend upon the volume of trade. Higher trade volume means higher earning. This is the reason there are a lot exchanges which are scam. By looking at the earning exchanges, many started their on exchanges. Some failed badly and some are earning a lot.
