An Open Letter to the WeAreSatoshi (WSX) Community
On 25 September 2018 an “economic” fork was executed at Block 802,050. Two things happened at that block- First, WSX became a pure POS (Proof of Stake consensus) currency and second, a Coin Generation event a.k.a. “premine” occurred. Two million WSX coins were created and added to the circulating supply at that block as a “development fund”. The nature and details of the fund were not disclosed prior to its creation. Since then these coins have been distributed to the new team.
An extreme measure – a ~30% coin burn of wallets inactive for over a year is scheduled to take place in the next week.
The removal of POW/move to pure POS consensus, generous premine to themselves, and extreme coin burn are not decisions to be made for our community by a brand-new team of marketers. Team transparency and accountability was promised but community concerns and questions about team holdings and history have not been answered. In fact, they may already be positioned to hijack the WSX network via 51% ownership of coins after the burn. Given the unhealthy pumps and dumps seen so clearly on recent charts a post burn controlling stake of the network may already be possessed by the team.
We will not allow coins which have been held safely off exchanges for years to be removed from chain by newcomers with questionable motives. We will not allow a 51% takeover of our network.
We demand the immediate resignations of the new WSX Marketing Team led by KingofWSXStreet (Jeff Johnson), IndominusWSX (Michael Gehrke), Gerald Eckert, theKryptKeeper and all others currently involved in perpetrating the theft of our currency.
