I think that this kind of thing is common to us. We only invest on those projects that are always giving news about what's happening on their project.

Dead projects are not to invest to. It will just lead you rekt if you do so. The thing is, before we invest, we need to DYOR on every projects where we want our money to be.

As we are all aware for scam events in crypto and also for their usual actions, sometimes we could notice it obviously but sometimes also they will be hardly to trace. And to be sure that it is not a scam project, better to investigate first, do research and reviews their feedback. Cause that's the only we could prove that it is the right project to invest with.

Changes always occur, this is what makes us always have to know about the latest information, many projects that have been proven scam and that are easily seen, they are not active in various media such as twitter, facebook, telegram and so on are a sign that the project is dying soon.

Here is a good source to decide which altcoin to invest in. I would never buy a dead altcoin with no development except Doge. Doge is unique and will be successful without much development.

You should have limit your statement to only the altcoins which their names appear under your screenshot you provided as died coins and not to say you will not invest in  died altcoins except Doge as if all other altcoins are died coins.
Although, I agree with your point on the ground that no rational person will invest in an inactive projects.

Active status is one of the main things to consider before invest into crypto projects. I agreed with the approach to invest in acceptable actively projects, despite of the fact that active projects don't equal to good projects.
It is just one of factors to consider.
Moreover, crypto and crypto projects have its most active period annually, so beyond most active period, we should not judge projects are dead due to lack of actively developments.

sometimes projects that are already active in their work do not succeed in growing prices on the market, because updates cannot trigger the attractiveness of the market. It happened at the beginning of this year where many projects carried out reforms but did not change their market prices. that's because the market is very weak, and very little trade is happening. but now that the market is growing, we are ready for a number of updates to come in, and that will make more investment go into the market.
