Whatever has happened in this year is not encouraging for crypto investors and market so we need to just put that to a side and stay hopeful for the times to come, especially with the token economics and deflationary nature of cryptos and that too with quality projects it is almost guaranteed that all these will grow over long term, we just need to be patient and wait for trend reversal from here, for eth im positive we can see bulls soon both fundamentally and technically it is at a point where reversal is almost imminent.

Although I think you're right - investors need to do their job much better and really start talking to those projects that actually have something to show at least in terms of tech.

So much marketing and so little in terms of tech - that needs to change.

We needs more support from the institutional investors, your ico will change nothing in the next year.
If there will be a lot of utility token in the future and that should be considered as a good thing dude. We need a utility token to prove the regulators about the usefulness of crypto.

Fully agree, a company that owns cryptocurrencies for the sake of having cryptocurrencies is ridiculous and they almost always fail. Utility tokens with real value use cases are what we need and the projects applying that logic will do well. Been following Plutus for quite some time and they made sure they were legally classified as a utility token since the beginning for that exact reason, the company is super regulatory compliant.

They're coming out in Q1 2019 and let people convert and spend their cryptocurrencies anywhere that is accepted by visa, trying to make cryptocurrencies usable as an exchange of value through a debit card or tap&pay app. Looking forward to seeing if they succeed.

I think pioneer support isn't actually lacking. It's the lack of fresh investors that's halting the movement, probably scared of this volatile market. We're too small to actually make anything happen you now. Just don't contribute to the crash by panicking like a little girl.

the funny thing is, once we hit another bull run, it will just go right back to greedy madness.
Yes, 2017 was an amazing year with a terrific all time high.
2018 brought a very spectacular crash, bearish market, then another crash.

But I don't think the bubble has fully burst.
Markets like these get into the trillions of dollars before the real crash.
That means that crypto has got another crazy bull run left in it.
I anticipate 2019 will be pretty bearish all year long, with things finally gradually rising the third quarter.
Then, when it takes off, people will be all moon and lambo and fomo all over again.

I think there is some much loss of confidence in the crypto space especially when it has to do with trust and genuinety of purpose. Bringing in some form of regulation will usher in some bull season as people will no longer fall for shitty projects

       It is very weird. In December 2017, everyone wanted to lower Bitcoin's price, to invest, too, with great confidence in the coin. Now that their desire has come true, they are afraid to invest that they crash the coin and lose their money. I believe that those who invested in 2018 will also invest in 2019. Most are very scared and do not rely on anything when investing. After all, life is a risk. I will invest.

IMO, we need plenty of good news and volumes coming into crypto for a bull run. With 2 new exchanges launching in 2019, it might not be difficult to see this happen.

I invested in 2018 so I could easily invest also in 2019 because I think the crypto world is a great place for our investments. The market needs more investors in order to grow.
