Are there any lightweight clients written in Java that can listen for transactions sent/receive from a specific address or addresses?

I'm not looking for wallet integration and sending/receiving, but rather something that is lightweight to only listen for events involved with a provided address.  It can make use of a full node, as long as it is indirectly and not needed on the same instance and that full node can be shared among multiple listener client instances.  Looking for something written in Java, thanks!

Maybe you should just use a service provider such as blockchain.info or blockexplorer.com ?

Bitcoinj might be what you want. Take a look at the RefreshWallet example.
