Well to be a little more exact, it' the lowest in mire than a year dating back to mid 2017 before bitcoin made it's historic run. And i don't think we have to rely on these predictiond about 2019. I remember the predictions for the last quarter of 2018 were quite promising lol.

It's not just very difficult. It's impossible to figure out where the market will bottom. I even think that people should stop trying to aim for a bottom price, because who actually manages to buy the bottom? The only thing you can do is dollar cost average every 10-20% the market dips, which is what I have been doing for a while now.

In the end, the bottom will likely be a brief bottom visit, a sort of mini flash crash where the price will be bought up seconds later. The only one's who are lucky enough to have their orders filled are those who set up buy orders prior to the flash crash, and thus not those who are waiting for a bottom.

Does it even matter to catch the bottom? 10% more or less won't make any sort of difference in the very long term.

It's in the hands of every single (small) participants like you but apparently, most can't be influenced directly by the few, they need media to do it.
So how can we find the answers?: watch the media, not to be influenced but to observe and analyze what they intended to do or their true goal.
The simplest rephrasing has been said over and over: "it's very difficult to predict", but that depends on the person.

The grand answer that everybody wants to hear is "yes or no" but in reality, the price of a Decentralized coin which has been tied to a Centralized body will follow the same fate of any HYPEd market (Gartner Hype Cycle). Bitcoin already reached the peak, we're now on the deciding factor whether this technology or just the coin itself will be useful enough to the eyes of the public.

it might not be a good idea to invest in bitcoin, but that is also not a bad idea. we see that the price comparison is indeed very far, but I also believe that prices will rise soon. but, in fact, we must be careful.

How long and what age we measure this bear section to the graph could be as long as 12 months now.   I think it could take another 12 months to turn around, thats my neutral to optimistic opinion on this.  I would advise not one holding of BTC but being able to buy every month over 12 months or so and I'd say the same for Stocks and a few different investment types tbh

I'm in the same boat. I would wait to see signs of reversal and a bottoming range before buying, or slowly scale in over many months. A capitulation spike isn't necessary, but it's typical with Bitcoin and we haven't seen it yet.

The equities market is worth keeping an eye on too. If the bottom holds on the major indices and we enter a range, I think it'll be a positive development for the Bitcoin market. Uncertainty in the world markets casts an air of pessimism over everything.

I don't know about the other but i am kept buying when the price of Bitcoin is kept falling because we have already seen how potential the Bitcoin is going to be, so now it is very good time to grab some Bitcoin and hold it for another year you will really make some decent profit with your purchases.

I believe we will enter a sideways market for a while. Hopefully not two years of sideways...
I would buy little bits of Bitcoin at regular intervals until the market starts going up again.
There is no reason to go in gung-ho style.

Even if Bitcoin goes down for a while you will have a great average value on your Bitcoin.
You will quickly gain profit when Bitcoin starts increasing.

maybe yes because if you buy in low price and you can sell it when the price back on its normal price you can make a good income by just buying and holding and selling it in the right time. Buying is the good things trhat we can do when the price is not good to prepare your self in the near future that the price multiply, so you can make a good profit by just buying and holding it and sell when the price back what we are expecting.
