[2018-12-14] Blockchain Development is Linkedin’s Biggest Growing Job Sector

According to LinkedIn’s 2018 U.S. Emerging Jobs Report, job listings for engineers who can develop distributed ledgers with P2P technology have grown 33 times this year. In the second place, and by quite a massive distance, is the Machine Learning Engineer role, a position which has increased 12 times within the same period.

I think the actual one was #1 Emerging Job, which I'm not exactly sure is the biggest growing - emerging specifically on LinkedIn too, which only lists "professional" occupations.

Doesn't seem to match what seems to be happening on the ground at the level I'm watching, though. Crypto firms and those providing related services seem to be following the market: contracting rather than expanding. Exchanges closing down officers, miners closing down operations, advisory services resizing. And salaries also, according to other research, going down.
