User memberpass sent me pm for merit. When sent first message I didn't report, just avoid him. But after few time he sent another message. It's really annoying me. I have reported and ignored him right now. Probably he saw my merit history that I have sent few merit to newbie. That's why he have asking send merit on his shit post. I have exposed him because he annoying me and everyone should know him as a merit beggar. Edit : Just now (Noticed from untrusted feedback) and saw his another post about airdrop which is need KYC to get free token value120$. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5071423.0It's look dubious to me. I will look into it when I will free. Tagged anyway.

Not only that, but he's pretty much written the same post in two different threads. This guy is worthy of a neg IMO. You ought to be the first one to give it to him. There is a Korean exchange whose airdrop campaigns MemberPass is working on. I think they have a great model with transaction fee mining. I believe this type of exchanges will be around.
My question is where do the quality traders hang out? What motivates you to join a new exchange?

Edit: Looks like you already gave him one. Good for you. I'll second that.

This means you are doing very well. When someone becomes popular then I have noticed these merit beggars (unfortunately I became one of them though) begs for merit. Keep up the good work. I am glad that I don't receive many now a days.

His preached project is nowhere to be in practical existence. This seems obviously a scam lair..

I've received a PM in the past of similar content in the past as well, although at least the sender was a lot more subtle about it, so I just ignored it.
It's definitely deserving of a neg in my opinion, when you combine the blatancy of the begging, as well as the fact that he has essentially started to spam your message inbox with the exact same copy & pasted text.
Any user who does this are essentially showing that they can't merits the legitimate way, and need to be resorting to this. It also definitely makes his "project" seem even more shady than it already is. To any prospective merit-seekers, not only does this not work, it could potentially destroy your reputation as well.

lol, these days people will create a thread for everything. Again, does this shit really needed a thread? You could just use the Report Message to Admin functionality and let them deal with it after you've blocked the message sender.

Does these people really expect that someone will give them merits after they beg for it via PM? Personally I also get some messages from merit beggars, but I don't bother to report it in public. I rather send them message with some offensive words or I just ignore these beggars. Merit begging isn't that big issue in my opinion as scaming or account sales for example, it's just annoying.

The beggars will always be with us. They are only refining strategies as indicated here. There are those that will call on the phone to beg for merits, in case they know you. In such a circumstance, there is no evidence to show such a beggar and he/ she goes free.

Begging for merit should be ignored and not punished. I personally never begged or ask for merit but also, i don't think even after all the scams around and everything bad, people should be judged so hard for simply begging. Begging is not something bad as trying to buy merit.

Probably you didn't read full post. Nothing is for laughing here. I have report but he sent me multiple message, I believe he sent others too. So everyone should know he is merit beggar. For example now you know he is merit beggar will you sent merit to him without check his post history ? I don't think so. May be this thread isn't worthy for you but who know may be it's worthy for others. Begging for merit should be ignored and not punished.
Agree with it even it's against forum rules. But annoying multiple time should be punished.

At almost 11 months of the merit system's existence I really thought this kind of merit begging will be over by now. But now I see that posting in threads created by newbies still makes them feel that they are somehow entitled to receive some merits from members who replied to their thread. I don't know how their minds work but they seem to think that every reply in their thread thinks that the members are appreciating what he created which is really a wrong assumption to make by a newbie.

I simply use this guideline: if a user sends me a message once for this reason I ignore him, I do not think it's right to tag him for a request for a point in a moment of "despair", if instead, the person turns out to be has a constant behavior I report him asking for a DT tag.
