That is a good analogy for maybe some other stuff but when we are talking about crypto it makes no sense to actually make these kinds of examples. Crypto prices are not a ship that started to sink, that would mean that any ship that is sinking will definitely sink and not go back to what it used to be, there is no ship in the world that sinks and than recovers.

However, bitcoin prices and generally crypto prices has a huge potential to recover, it has plummeted to earth before and it managed to survive, why would something that managed to go from 1400 to 250 to 20 thousand dollars would stay around these prices after dropping to only 3 thousand dollars which is more than the double of last all time high we recall. The example is quite misleading and totally clickbait to create a big thing out of nothing.

The analogy is flawed because the ship is not sinking at all, we are just in turbulent waters and people are panicking and they think the ship is sinking, then when they are left in the middle of the ocean in those turbulent seas while the ship finally arrives at a port or at least finds better weather they will beg to get back on the ship but by then the damage will be done and it will be too late.

Their is nothing one should be doing at the moment other than buying at this prices which could be beneficial as you can easily average your prices and bring them down and when the demand rises price will rise and you can make money from it as your buying would come down if you buy it now at this low rates.

Willingness to take the big risk can be profitable after the bounce back, there's no other options after seeing the hue downfall, keeping your coins and hold it for much longer time can possibly bring good profits in returned, its a matter of taking the risk and hoping that things will turned to our directions and bring more good news to allow the market to start bringing the bull back.

Buying and holding are our only options, many of those that are selling are taking the wrong choice especially since they are selling now, if someone saw the bear market coming and got out of it while he could with small loses then he will be in a great position now but when you are selling when we are close to the lowest price the only thing you will get out of it are losses.

and drown ?     The best solution is to never rely on the value of one thing, hold a variety of asset types.     BTC is not giving any yield so not suitable as a traditional investment under most descriptions, most negatives people attribute to the price action comes from labelling it wrongly in first place I think.    Its very volatile, just like guessing the price of copper might be and unless you use copper every day for a job its not giving an immediate return

so do you really believe that it would be possible for the price to fall to $ 0 or even that it would fall below $3000 and will never recover? dude, why the hell are you buying bitcoin? I mean you know that bitcoin are limited and can still enter big players which can greatly increase the price and you are just look the next few months instead of looking at the next few years?

They think it is sinking but the truth is, it is just a storm that makes it look like sinking and all you have to do is to HODL until the storm pass. It they are going to jump in their own ship with the storm, it means they just quit living and they rather choose to die but they didn't see that the ship is still in a good shape despite with the storms.

So many good analogies in a single thread, getting out of bitcoin when the worst part of the storm has already passed is a complete mistake, and this is especially true when there is almost no chance that the ship is going to sink, leaving now means leaving not only a great part of your capital in the market but it also means leaving the opportunity of not only getting your money back but of getting profits.

Just hold what you can but don't get too excited about of a simple pump in the market, it is not triggering something yet but we can still hope that Bitcoin might rise one day and starts the bull run. What we have to do right now during this bearish trend is to hold on to what we have but be very cautious.
