The blockchain technology is most suitable for businesses or transactions that requires  third party, and that includes Real estate, Airlines, legal services, Hotel bookings etc.  The banking sector however needs the blockchain system the most to remove the multiple layers of intermediation that results in slow operations.

Banking and finance is not the only industry where blockchain technology is needed. There are many other sectors like law enforcement, messaging apps, voting (elections), internet advertising, car leasing and sales, insurance, healthcare etc.
