How/Why to Buy Bitcoin in 2019

I will not just make it simple, I will not be buying bitcoins anymore in 2019 because I have been accumulating this year.
2018 is a year for major correction and we have seen it happening, but 2019 is gonna be a road to recovery, bull run will come and new ATH will cause FOMO.

And those who will invest in the FOMO would probably make big money and those who are already holding from now would be the game changers. It is either for the ideology or for the monetary benefits.

OP,how can you prove that only 1% make money out of pump groups?From where did you get that number?
I kinda agree with most of the stuff you mentioned in the list,but the pump groups are a myth.
It's sad that,the crypto whales always win,even if the prices are going down.The small traders that lack experience and knowledge will lose 99% of the time.

The 1% that makes money can be called for the pump group moderators; the others can only get benefit by mistakenly or fast trading while they may still have potential of losing the funds by the rest pumps since they are going to like to earn quicker. But as I mentioned, pump groups are for the moderatorsi not for ordinary traders.
One more detail; some of the whales pay to the moderators to decide on their coins.

In my opinion, Bitcoin will not show any price rise until the end of 2019. At the end of 2019, we can slowly see a rise and then we can say "moon".

The percentage of investors holding their coins for the long term is probably going down as bitcoin becomes more popular and more people get in the market trying to get profits, and while as you say that process is inevitable at the same time it makes harder for those new to the market to find the correct answer to the question of how to get the most benefit out of their investment in bitcoin, because if everyone they see and know is speculating with the price they may feel that is the only way to get profits.

Honestly, I just following the movement price last 2014 and 2015 so, 3rd quarter of 2019 I'm sure that bitcoin price will rise up again just like what happened last 2015 and I think more event will come this coming a year.

2014/15 crash took about less than 1 year of decline in BTC price before the recovery started. I believe if BTC were to reach new lows now that we would actually be in a bearish market for longer than that time.

It actually took 13 months. And after that was more then half year of sideways from February to October. Only in October 2015 slow growth started.

Well, the market hasn't started the bull yet, i think it is still better to accumulate now since there is no sign of bull run yet. We will know when will the bull run to starts if we see some changes in the market. Though we can't be really sure if it is a bull run or a bull trap, some whales are trying to do this since the very start.

If you are an experienced trader, you should know that buy in fomo is always not a good idea. Many people who bought in fomo in December 2017, are still stuck or cashed out in a loss. It never a wise descion to buy in fomo as the price is already very high at that time and there are 80% chance that the price will fall once you buy at such a high price.

I think for people who bought and accumulated like OP it wouldn't be insane to not buy bitcoin anymore. However, it all kind of depends on your purchasing average. If you have an average lower than 5 thousand dollars than you can just stop and wait for it to go up (you can still buy more to drop the averages lower and make more profit later on) however if your average is anything over 5 thousand dollars and you have enough money to reinvest, I would still suggest buying more with each paycheck. Nothing huge but keeping a 5% part of your paycheck for buying more bitcoins wouldn't be crazy.

It all depends on your averages, I would suggest everyone to keep buying anything under 4 thousand but as the price starts to go up (hopefully) you can once again stop buying and if the price goes above your average buying price than you should definitely stop buying.

Hey Bitcoins prices rising shouldn't be the only factor you should be considering, you should buy because you believe in the technology too. Also I feel that there's a high level of sentiments in the crypto markets, that institutional investors shall be adopting into cryptos. I also feel the fud has disappeared from the market which shall pave the way for further growth in the crypto market.

Which is one of the major reasons the whales and some of the institutions will keep having a pretty good time with playing with the minds of the gamblers in this market.

A lot of people do not know why they are buying, except for the fact that they believe the market will end up increasing in the long run. Sure, it is not a bad idea of a thought to have, but at the same time, that is one reason that has set up so many people into making the wrong decisions with their investments over the years. The market is opened to a lot of people anyway which includes the inexperienced investors, so it is a normal thing to get to see things like this.

I personally think that there will be a huge buying opportunity for long term investors that will last throughout Q1, or potentially even Q2 of 2019.

The market sentiment is yet to change to bullish, and i don't think that it's going to do that within the first quarter of the year. We are likely going to be seeing some sideways movement between the $3k-4k zone before any big vertical movements occur.

As a result of lack of research, investors are selling their coins after some manipulative news that can be called as FUD. Then, the investor figures out that it was FUD/manipulative news but it's a bit late; investors already sold out with quiet cheaper thatn few hours after dump.

9) Following Influencers and copying their investments/shared coins.
Of course, it is vital to follow significant influencers who are wised or well-informed. It helps, indeed. However, it doesn't mean that people should copy whatever has been shared to their portfolio in manner of seconds. In these kind of scenarios most of the people are going to lose their funds as a result of lack of research and experience.

These are the two most crucial mistakes in my opinion in terms of speculating in 2018.

I know a ton of people who started panic dumping because prices dipped below $4k, when they should actually be doing dollar cost averaging to lower their average entry point for the long run. Also, there has been a ton of so called "experts" in mainstream media posting sensationalist analysis articles for bitcoin which have been completely false and unbacked (*cough* *cough* Tom Lee).

Don't follow the herd. I definitely think that when we're this deep in a bear market and the mainstream is screaming "sell" and "bitcoin is dead", long term investors should do the contrary.

Perhaps the right decision to buy this year bitcoin but still there is a risk of decline. I bought bitcoin during 2018 and now I will buy more only if the price falls as I do not want to be greedy. I have some bitcoins but am happy with what I have.
