What I know is The Pharmacist and actmyname becomes DT2 members by reporting lot of scammers and spammers for years.So you also can be one of 'em if you have reputation and enough skills in finding the scams.

They became DT2 because DT1 added them to their trust list, simple. Reporting scam will not give you IN to DT. I would humbly request you to have an eyes on threads where DT have been explained properly.

No DT1 is going to add you if you don't leave any feedbacks to any accounts,DT1 level member will add you to their trust level only when you have lot of feedback which they agree with most.But there is no guarantee that reporting scams will make you in DT list.
