Could there be a section for sport

Sport is one thing that unites people it's also promote peace and joy.
I know this forum is meant for serious discussion but all work and no fun won't make bitcoin price to increase. I was wondering if there could be a sport section yes the obvious response would be to channel it to the off-topic section yes quite correctly but could the off-topic section have child board where sport would be included. It would be a fat lie if we say that there are no huge amount of sport lovers in the forum I would state and even argue the fact that the amount of sport lovers can rival the amount of politics lovers.

And besides it would help easy tensions just take a break from all the bad drama happening in the cryptocurrency market. Also some cryptocurrency related project are sponsoring some football and sport team this can bring some revenue to the forum when some of this project notice that the section is gaining interest they could reach out to the forum for possible deal well that is IMO

Sport is fun and won't harm anyone if it's been discussed

The off topic board hardly gets any post,neither is it in a bad shape,why then the need for a child board in it for sports,when it could well be discussed in there

And besides it would help easy tensions just take a break from all the bad drama happening in the cryptocurrency market

There are numerous forums in relation to the sport of your choice where you can discuss about it, and take a break
Or better still stay off the forum for a while and grab a bottle of beer,it'll help

I would say you should save the forum of that stress it's really unnecessary to have a sport section. Let's assume your suggestion is adopted then the music fans would also rise up and make a claim to the section as well this would affect the overall balance of the forum

You can't compare the importance of politics and society to that of sport. Sport is something of a leisure while politics and society is a very serious issue since everyone on the forum is from a particular country but probably not everyone would love sport so that would beat your argument about politics and sport.

Just best stick to the off topic section create a post about sport you would get responses from interested sport lovers

There are some threads in gambling discussion that discuss different sports/leagues. Sometimes they talk about players and what happened during the match while others share their opinions on what team they're betting on.

It's fundamentally a Bitcoin forum, and anything related to this industry is discussed in here. The only thing I know of which somehow connects Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies with any sport is betting, which is basically gambling, and we already have a board for that. I don't see the need of a different board for sports since there aren't a lot of things to be discussed which would bring together sports and cryptocurrencies.

No. We don't need a sub board for every faucet of existence. It would just be spammed in by sig spammers anyway just like Gambling Discussion is. In fact, people used to post about sports quite a bit in Off Topic but they soon found a loophole in that they could talk about sports in Gambling so that board became filled with threads for every possible sport and league in the world because most campaigns won't pay for posts in off topic but will in gambling and it's easy to chat shit about sports all day. It got so bad that we had to create the Gambling Discussion board for that express purpose because genuine businesses couldn't promote themselves amongst all the spam, but very little gambling discussion actually goes on in there. It's either threads just talking about sports that half of the people posting in there probably don't even care about and the rest is just spam shit threads like is gambling good, can you make money from gambling, does gambling annoy your wife/gf/family/dog etc etc.

I am still trying to understand what you mean by this. We do not work to take the price of bitcoin higher, except of cause in the capacity of whales. But we can work to profit from the market through 'work'. And yes, more of that would boost our gains.

If there was a high number of posts in the off topic section, that could be a reason to consider making a child board for it. But as it stands, there seems to be no reason at all.

Will I call these act of yours ignorant or what? Firstly you didn't take time to search through the forum. I have said it time without numbers, there are thousands of individuals on forum that means for every average question or suggesting you got, someone must have stated similar topic before. Secondly after all the various replies are  almost saying the same thing why don't you take correction and close topic?.
In summary, we have the Gambling board for everything related to sports. Which has the following sub-boards;

• Games and rounds: for Spreadsheet games, forum-based games, and discussion of individual rounds/games on other sites.
• Gambling discussion: for Discussion of sports games and other gambling-related topics which are separate from games and services themselves.
• Investor-based games (name says it all) and also we have mega thread and off topic for whatever you think is worth discussing about sport just as other users have said.

So tell me what do you have to discuss about sport that can't fit in those sub boards?. This forum was create for bitcoin (cryptocurrency) discussion mainly, any other discussion should be seen as a plus.

I don't think that's is a topic to be deliberated there is no point in have a board for sport when there is a board for already for off-topic where sport can be discussed

What a fucking sport... There are enough branches to publish different kinds of articles.
In General, This forum is for discussing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in order to convey to the society something new and interesting.
If you are interested to discuss the football or hockey - Just sign up on any sports forum and there bursting with his tongue on rates and chances of winning all the time!

I'd disagree with off topic not being in "bad shape". I think most of the threads over there are pretty bad. For example, the topics which just get you to list your favorite movie, and thus gets spammed with one word answers. It wouldn't be so bad if there was actual discussion there.

Creating a section for sport won't be an advisable thing to do you would see the board being a heaven for spammers and troll would battle it out in terms of the team the support it's best we just keep the forum strictly a serious forum and if there is any need to for of point then the off-topic section is quite ok

It's fine to create a sub-forum for sports, this sub-forum is for sports duscussion use only and nothing else but there is already a suitable post where you can discussed sports topics. Share and learn still possible in off-topic as it is created for sports discussion and more off-topic topics that can be disscussed there.
