ReeX is a peer-to-peer decentralized digital currency for ordinary people, easy to use and acquire. We could confirm that monday, hackers exploit a staking bug attack on our chain. Since yesterday, ReeCore team has been working to fix the situation. Now code is fixed

Earlier today we had a meeting with Staking.world and Cryptostake.es to test new wallet with them. Our plan is to test new wallet with our pool partners and if all works fine, we will release a mandatory wallet update for all our members.

We are glad to inform you that we fixed the bug that someone exploited Monday. This attack made a lot of stakes and fakes blocks on our blockchain. Our new wallet will NOT accept the fake stakes, it shall be marked as “red’’ such as orphan blocks (almost all day in 14.15.15 of January).

This fix is MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE, this wallet will NOT accept old nodes, so those who don’t update will not have nodes to sync.

Now you can check transactions in explorer, the circulating supply amount is now correct.

The windows update processes are:

0. Close your old wallet.

1. Make a secure copy of your wallet.dat file (we suggest to external USB drive)

2. Delete all files in C:\Users\YOURWINDOWSUSER\AppData\Roaming\Reecore\
except these files:
(i)  Wallet.dat
(ii)  Masternodes.conf
(iii)  Reecore.conf

3. Download and launch new fixed wallet (reecore-qt_1.2):

OUR TO-DO:
1. Masternode and Linux headless will be published as we go on with correction progress.

After many meetings with Crex24, we were informed that many buyers bought several millions of fake stakes hacker traded in the market. As you know, after fixing our blockchain, fake stakes will not exist.

Crex24 has blocked more than 100 million of the hacker’s balance his account, however, they cannot distinguish the rest of the fake coins distributed among tons of real users.

The attacked chain has been stopped while it is impossible to move coins. Given this, the only possible option is to make a large cut of the balances of all crex24 users (still to confirm the ratio, but it should be around 1000:1). It will be confirmed once the wallet is updated and the number of real currencies in crex24 is confirmed.

This process is the only possible option, since the other option would be to delist and forget ALL the REEX balances in crex24.

We recommend that you be patient with us, as we also regret the inconvenience this could have cost you. We look forward to a bigger future for our community.

This is probably due to the fact that a lot of effort is aimed at:

1) to create not another shitcoin, but a coin, which is prepared for real use - charity and education;
2) to create a cohesive community and internal infrastructure for it and interacting with it;
3) very small quantity in current circulation;
4) the work goes on every day, as well as the steadily growing number of new partnerships and listings;
5) the site has been updated.

- We just restore the Webwallet minor issues.

- We made in-depth updates of the node deps to avoid possibility of bugs.

In other hand, we had to restart the sync of explorer two times due to a stuck in block 208k. We kindly apologize for that.

Finally we are preparing various changes in the core as quickly as possible.
Such as:
- Improvement in bbdd;
- Improvement in the windows wallet QT;
- Some improvements in graphical user interface (GUI);
- etc..

Ernesto Sánchez has been a cryptographic ecosystem enthusiast since 2016, the start of Bitcoin commercialization. Dear Reecore Community,

We understand perfectly well that your concern about the silence on our part lately and the absence of any significant news and announcements.

There are reasons for this, but the main one is that all our efforts at the moment are focused on the most important thing in our opinion - the development and design of the future education hub. The previous embodiment of the eduhub raised a lot of questions and led us to a dead end, in connection with which it was decided to completely redesign it.

Lets look about the details of what has been done so far:

Firstly, the subject orientation and focus of the platform have been determined - the scientific and technological sectors as follows:
 

·        The design of the basic structure of all pages and sections of Eduhub is almost completed.

·        The interconnection of all elements of the platform is thought over and designed.

·        The structure and functionality of a user account is being finalized for each of the three categories of Eduhub members – community users, corporate clients and universities.

·        The monetization model is being clarified and improved for each of the participants in particular and for the platform in general.

·        Clarified the model of high-quality selection of educational materials to the platform's database among incoming materials.



Secondly, we create a platform where everyone will find something for themselves for what they want to do:

·        Choice of courses in any technologyy area

·        Corporate trainings

·        Individual training and self-development

·        A section for those who want to open their research or development to the world and become visible to employers and universities;

·        Passive income from the general monetization of the platform at the expense of the REEX holding and lifetime income from the sale of materials from attracted content creators;

For universities - the opportunity to sell their research to companies that have the necessary material base for this or receive orders and funding for research and much more.



Thirdly, It should be added that we strive to ensure that community participation should become a determining force in the further direction of the platform's development, for example:
