My theory is that people buy it as holiday gifts.
As we see, this time the price for bitcoin did not rise in December, as well as the prices for all other coins, so it can be argued that people did not buy bitcoin as Christmas gifts and, accordingly, there was no demand for Bitcoin, as it was before. We need to follow the developments on the market and the time when prices will finally grow.

What is op talking about? It did not happen obviously. It was the opposite because it crashed hard when it was about to enter the month of December. Things have changed and the media are monitoring us and they always released the bad side that discourage buyers.

until now the conditions have not improved, and indeed many investors are hesitant about bitcoin. yes, hopefully the things we face today can recover and investors can come back again without worry.

My theory is that people buy it as holiday gifts.

Now, it is different from the past years. Bitcoin was not rallying anymore in December 2018.
I think the increased price at the end of the year was not because peoples bought it as holiday gifts.
There were peoples who sold their bitcoin for buying some gifts in holiday at the end of year too.
