If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.

Is this for real? How to make sure if the whales are buying it? Are you using the bullish trend as a signal that will represent the whales? It could be wrong. The problem is they are always try to accumulating more coins on the stable market and they never try to buy when the price gets pumped.  |

The buying of "whales" is difficult to discern since most of the trading on exchanges has been found to be Wash Trading by bots and it is well known that "whales" tend to do there buying and selling on OTC markets which are not transparent. I do wish the market would grow up and stop using stupid terms like "whales" when in any other market it would be called "institutional trading".

you shouldn't invest in anything just because you see someone else (even a whale) is investing in that thing. and definitely you should not invest just because you think they are investing!
instead you should only invest AFTER you do your own research and analyze the asset you want to buy (in this case bitcoin) and if you saw the potential in it and predicted a good future with a price rise then buy it.
if you do the research step then you can use the information above (like seeing whales accumulating) as an additional green light to buy bitcoin. but it should not be your only reason.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

You are right, but if you want to buy it, you should hurry, because when Bitcoin reaches a certain price, the whale/shark will sell it to profit from the investment.

If you can catch a whale, then of course you can do it. We all follow the pace of the whale, but most people can't predict the next action of the whale, so we are actually blind.
Whales can choose to jump in advance and bypass obstacles, but we may hit them. This is the difference between us and whales.

you guys are correct. alot of good information here. i think we see them accumulating but dont know when they are selling. but im not sure when to sell either. its too soon to sell. i will sell when the price is right. and thats when hyperbitcoinization happen lol jp.

If you know that whales are buying, let us know and buy it for us. Generally, these large investors buy parts. We can't keep the price down if we know they're already buying. |

There are people doing analysis of the blockchain and they are finding that the largest wallets are accumulating. So you don't need to go to forums to verify this. Just a few months ago it was reported that the whales accumulated something like 150,000 BTC over a two month period. |

You should take into account that whales can be wrong, in fact, from time to time we can see news about millionaires who lose large amounts of money trading. Whales buying something does not guarantee anything.

Whales have been buying ever since and this is not a secret, it's an open secret that there are a lot of whales who control the majority of the coins in the market and they are the one mainly manipulating the market, just like what happened two days ago when Bitcoin made a sudden crash because some whales choose to dump. |

I don't think I will have to wait for whales to buy bitcoin before I too will be prompted to buy since I believe in the potential of bitcoin and how it market is an ever growing one I will just buy the one I can with confidence and hold. Whales are always involved in the bitcoin market from the beginning so it not new now. |

Whales don't sit still. They manipulate the market. They make many small bulls and bears to buy for cheap and sell for high to buy more cheap coin. We won't realise when they'll be making the ultimate bull and falls for their small traps. So, it'd be better to have your own strategy and stick to it than try to follow others. |
