This bear market resulted in rise of new stable coins like  PAX, GUSD, USDC, TUSD, HUSD in competition of DAI & USDT because there were great opportunity for the stable-coin in the market as tether (USDT) was in rumor about their controversial audit whether they have collateral USD for each USDT or not in the bank. Actually more option is good for traders & stablecoins have proven to be biggest tool against bear market situation.

     These StableCoins are becoming more and more popular each day. These, I think, will change the perception of people about cryptocurrency. However, when the bull period comes, it will be very difficult for these coins to assert, but not impossible. I think these StableCoin are a gold mine at this time of the bear and many will take advantage of it.
