hello everybody
i'm planning to setup rig with this hardwares :

--
2 GPUs : Asus mining RX-470-4G
cpu : Intel Kaby Lake Core i3-7100
motherboard : Asus B250 MINING EXPERT
Ram : Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB DDR4 2400MHz
Power : Master Tech MX1050W Modular
--
i'm planning to mine Monero on this rig but the thing is everywhere i look about the mining RX-470 series
it says it give hashrates between 21Mh/s - 25Mh/s
can i count on it for mining Monero?
since in my place the power cost in very low like each month around 8$ or 10$
in monero calculator with 21Mh/s the profit in a day is like around 143.20
but since it's my first time that i want to start mining i need a little help about it to know if i'm setting up a right hardware.
other than monero what coins i can mine with this setup?

tnx a lot

Hi,
Hashrates 21Mh/s - 25Mh/s that you say is for "Ethash" algorithm (ETH, ETC) only.
But algorithm of Monero is "CryptoNightV8" that RX 470 can give you only 660 hash/s in this algorithm.
So if you buy 2x RX 470 then you have 1320 hash/s in "CryptoNightV8" algorithm and based on link below, you can get only $3 a week  Smiley

https://whattomine.com/coins/101-xmr-cryptonightv8?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=1320&p=300&fee=1&cost=0.3&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

Mining is not profitable anymore, I suggest you to invest in Cryptos instead of buying GPUs.

i didn't know that hashrate in algorithms are diffrent ,
so there's no way that i can get Mh/s on mining monero?
even with another gpu or another setup?

what about other algorithms ? like Equihash , NeoScrypt , CryptoNightAlloy , ..... ?
can i get the 660 Hash/s on another algorithms to?

Nope, the hashrate for the cards is different on every different algorithm. If you go to https://whattomine.com/ and enter in one RX 470 card, you'll get an approximation for how fast a 470 can hash on the various algorithms that are listed on the site. It's unclear to me whether or not the numbers given are for a 4GB card or 8GB card, but they should be about the same for your 4GB 470s.
