I doubt that Ether will be able to cross this price until the middle of 2019. The cryptocurrency market is very weak now. But we must be patient.
ethereum still has good prospects going forward and until now there are still many new projects using the platform from ethereum, so there is still potential for the coins to be able to increase their prices again. although currently, the crypto market is still down, I am optimistic that it will not be until the middle of this year if the market grows again, ethereum prices will also be able to rise through current prices. |

The opportunity for ETH to increase to $300 in mid-2019 is very low, or even impossible. $300 will be my goal for ETH in mid 2020 or the end of 2020, this market needs to continue going down and sideway for at least 1 year. The time you posted this question Ethereum was going really good but it only manages to raise up to 150 USD. Ethereum is still the most undervalue cryptocurrency in my opinion and will surely surpass 300 USD, just HODL. |

It is less than 22 days to ethereum fork and there is no price agitation/reaction rather hype for other coin to replace ethereum in its demoted 3rd position. I am really disappoint in the coin and the governance. If it continues this way I see ethereum move to top 10 by the end of the year for whichever price the market pleases.

EOS on the 4th place at coinmarketcap.com/. Will it soon overcome ETH?  The EOS - concept seems to be really interesting. At least it is already on POS, which ETH needs desperately to implement, but the constantinople fork in January 2019 has been again postponed because of technical isues.  |

Look 2018 is done and there is no happen for the value of the ethereum because it will not hit the value of 300 dollars per piece of the ethereum. But this year probably it is big chances to see that because we have 3 quarters more and we still in first quarter and we have a lpt of time to reach for the ether what we want to see before end of this year 2019 . Ethereum will not only 300 it's for thousands of value.

Your post was talking about 2018 and we are past that now. However, I feel the need to add something to this thread. The truth about the cryptocurrency space is that analysts and traders alike can only predict what they feel will happen. Nothing is for sure when it comes to trading and cryptocurrency in particular. The degree of volatility prevalent in the crypto space has the possibility of taking us to zero value at some point, which I don't believe will happen though. My point is just that we should quit predicting unnecessarily as this could lead novice traders into a ditch

2018 is gone and ethereum price is now a way below the supposed to be year end price. But the forthcoming major ethereum network upgrade can possibly push its price up if it is completed. Ethereum's hardfork this year and its next upgrade in the following year might finally take the coin into another bullrun or all-time high in the near future.

Last year the price of ETH failed to reach the value of 300$ but due to market fluctuations. So we need to focus on this year and this year there might be a chance to increase the demand for ETH until it starts increasing more than 300$. Don't loose hope on the ETH because the potential of ETH is known to us and we have seen in the year 2017.
