What is the reason of ETH bull run?

Now ended ethereum  bull run. We can see again all coins downing like last months. In my case of next year will be good year for cryptocurrencies. In 2020 all major coins will be up.

I think the eth bull run involves investors who sell their ETH, also ETH tokens increase supply, I think this is a problem at ETH. However, ETH prices will rise again after January 2019.

We saw a good bull run on ethereum after a long time. There is mainly 3 reasons to see this run. First one is ethereum 2.0 update. Ethereum devolopers announced they will upgrade ethereum and solve txn and scalability issues. And they will launch ethereum 2.0.
Second reason is ethereum hardfork in mid Jan there will be a hard fork of ethereum. And the third one (I am not sure about it) is Bitcoin and Ethereum will fork together. And there are a  market grow  which help to in the ethereum bull run.

I can't see that day would come, I can see  that most alts will be evicted to the market and can no longer pursue themselves. But that thing you said about bitcoin about no longer will fully influence the market, I see the end of the market if that happens.

Ethereum is still growing slowly with  sometimes also a drop happen, i think there is still no reason for the bull run to happen right now. perhaps after the hardfork there will be good news for ethereum market. For now it will still moving closely with todays market.

Here is my theory. When BTC went from 6.4 to 3.6K, XLM/XRP held really well while ETH was falling like crazy. From that point on, XLM/XRP have been kind of performing poorly (especially XLM) where as ETH is surging at the moment. I think there might be some big money that is being switched back and forth and as such, I suspect that when ETH stops pumping right before the fork, this big money will go back to XLM/XRP to start another surge.

Ethereum is the leading altcoin, it pavedt he way for others to follow and I am not surprised by the gradual bullrun, I have been expecting it for a while now, but to be honest, this upcoming fork plays a great role as well.
