I guess ETH is back to its pavilion now, nearly it has pumped upto $50 from last week and slowly rocking, Yes it was really struggling this entire last quarter due to continuous price fluctuations. I hope it will regain its position as king of Alts.

If Eth in weeks before it is indeed struggling with adversity. And all that happened to the altcoin I think. But we see slowly ethereum starting to rise and continue to rise. What do you expect, I also hope that ethereum will again become an altcoin that is very much in demand.

ETH indeed is a promising coin as it's pioneer in a lot of new technologies and applications. And its ever in R&D. Can't tell about the profit or price but ETH would be the next king in total marketcap with it's increase in supply, usages and adoption.

Eth's current market cap = $13,390,496,883

Few more pumps and it will replaced XRP again to the 2nd spot or there will be another rally soon between these two.

Hopefully within a month it will regain its position dethroning ripple to be the king of altcoins. Ethereum Constantinople  hardfork is scheduled on January 2019 before hardfork there will be so many hype which will result in appreciation in price of ethereum. Just take advantage of upcoming hardfork hype and trade safe.

It is very easy to say but it is very unlikely to happen, we might get some pump today but it does not mean we will see it again at the end of the year?
some people will spend their money off the table while the investor is spending their money, our total market cap will not make any significant movement because we are lacking a flow.
which means, XRP will remain become the 2nd biggest cryptocurrency in term of its volume for a period of time.

I'm not saying that it can overtake at the end of the year but there's a tendency that it will since these two has been the rival for that spot.

I really don't care if ETH or XRP will take the #2 spot. What's important to me is that ETH will stabilize and go back to its better price before. Let XRP take the 2nd place but let ETH take all the positive progress and movement along its circle.

It has a good chance. The competition didn't move fast enough, Ethereum did some great progress which will be visible at the next upgrade and it seems that the money starts to flow back into the crypto markets, giving ETH an advantage.
If the current inflow (for Bitcoin and altcoins too, including ETH) was just a "dead cat bounce" then the equation may change. But currently the things look good.

Lucky for you to buy when the value is dipping, now is the best chance for people to start placing their money from this project, the last quarter pumped might be an indications for more rise to happen this coming next year, as we heard some good news that will be undergo this January 2019, though we also need to consider to have some additional plans just in case things won't happen according to your plan, make sure to have a good alternative and you are willing to take the risk.

I hope so too. at the moment it looks like ethereum is trying to take over their position again as the best crypto number two. if according to estimates, maybe early next year ethereum will return to the price of $ 300-450, but it all depends on the market.
