First of all, let me apologize in advance if I am not posting to the right place.  I could not see any topics around my issue.

I bought some diggibyte on livecoin some time ago and for the past 3 months, I have been trying to get them in my possession.  My coins show as a balance but the wallet is offline.  I have opened numerous help tickets with them and I am told the same thing over and over again: the node is out of sync (or something to that effect).  I think it's clear that they are just not going to release my diggibyte.  Do I have any recourse?  I live in the US and I believe they are in the UK.

Thanks everyone

Personally, I never had problems with this Livecoin exchange and in my opinion they are legit.
Have you received any answer from them?
Try to contact with them by social media channel (FB, Twitter) or Telegram chat if the have.

Thank you for your input.  I have several times and the answer is the same: due to node updates we cannot release the token.

Its been over 3 months and I cannot find anyone saying that digibyte is having a problem.  I will take your advice and seek them out on social media.

Thank you

Strange, because it can means that they don't support this anymore..

In this case better contact with someone from DigiByte support here:

Maybe they have some updates and Livecoin do not implement it. Go to that thread and i'm sure that they will help you.

Its been over 3 months

if it has been really that long then the chances of getting that particular coin back are dim. you can continue putting pressure on them on their social media as you are now, but so far whenever i see an exchange have this type of problem (wallet maintenance for a long time) it means they are not running the node of that coin anymore. chances are it has nothing to do with syncing!

Happy ending.

I was poking around on the livecoin.net site and decided to see if I could sell my digibyte for ETH and wow, I did.  I just transferred to my nano and will ride ETH for a bit and see what the markets are going to do.

Thanks, everyone!
