Does the number of blocks in Armory match that of Core? Are there any transactions showing in the ledger? You should create your own thread and we can troubleshoot from there.

I thank you for getting back to me so promptly.
Yes, the blocks counts in both Armory and Core are same
and
Yes; the displayed transaction records coincide with those I made
about a year ago.
(I am still exploring this forum and as soon as I work out how to create my own thread,
I shall so do.....).

Is the most recent transaction in the ledger showing coins moving out of your wallet? What wallet filter did you select (in bottom left corner)?

Yes, the most recent transaction in the ledger shows coins moving out of the wallet.
The selected wallet filter is 'My Wallets'.
A strange thing happened though - while I scrolled through the filters - the ledger transactions actually disappeared
when I scrolled back to the 'My Wallets' filter !! So, now, the ledger transactions display correctly except if the 'My Wallets' filter is selected.
Otherwise, the Armory Wallet software appears to function normally.....

Hello again.
I returned to Armory and attempted to repeat the selection of each filter and see the transaction records.
The 'My Wallets' filter returns a blank transactions view.
But, the 'All Wallets' filter now returns the correct and spendable balances I expect in my Armory wallet.
Now I feel bad that I may have wasted your time - I am sorry; my fault, my ignorance.
I thank you tremendously for your efforts - you taught me a lesson.
THANKS; again.

For the "my wallets" filter to show anything, you first have to flag wallets as yours for each wallet. You can find it in the wallet details dialog (double click a wallet from the lobby to get there).

You will need to set your user to "expert" to reveal that option, from the User File menu.

Thanks for your suggestions.
My user set to 'Advance' showed the options.
And through the Wallet Properties dialogue, I was able to flag the wallets as mine.
Consequently, the Wallet filters showed appropriate transactions.
I suppose I should now be able to carry out flawless transactions - I hope.....
Thanks 'goatpig',

Your link is correct, but it only has the last stable release build which has incompatibility issue with some OS and latest Bitcoin Core versions.
If you want the latest release candidate (not stable release), you can check the next pinned thread below this one.

For specific information, you'll get more by searching this Armory board or asking questions by posting your own thread here.
