# 04. August 2020 Update agent and dashboard
This update allows you to set a temperature target based on memory temperature for AMD Vega or later cards. So if either temperature target is reached fan management adjusts the fans.
We also added a loyalty level for all users, it's based on your usage of the platform. You will get up to 25% bonus credits for every credit purchase based on your current level.
* Updated agent to 2.8.11-1 * Added memory temp target for AMD Vega+ fan management * Added loyalty level and bonus

Hello, Seems like rig wasn’t updated more than 6 months. Easiest way is to unplug usb drive and put it on your desktop, backup config.json from 20mb partition, write newest image which is on dashboard-> get mmpos. Once written just restore config.json you’ve backed up in new image and plug it back in rig. Regarding phoenixminer, I am not aware of what’s changed except looking into phoenixminer official changelog. If 5.0 works ok, just use it as its stable. There is no speed increase in new versions. Cheers

Hi, yes you can. Only firstboot needs ethernet, after initial setup login via remote console/ssh/tty console and type mmp netconf, choose wifi, follow instructions to setup essid/wpa2.

Hello. I've just download and flash the latest image of this OS but when I start my rig, I have this error : https://i.imgur.com/C7zCW5x.pngSo how can I get 2.8.13 image ?? EDIT : After contacting the team on Discord, I succeed in upgrading my client by opening a console on the miner and using the command "mmp update".

Hey guys.
I'm here cause I'm miner about 4 years and tested a lot of systems and settings. I judt met this system and I think that is a fantastic mining OS. I spended a lot of time to understand how it works but after that, it was spetacular. The main screen splited in 3 with all informations that we need was the most adorable thing.
Now, I have some tips to improve it. Like Simplemining OS, it could have a miner screen direct from dashboard, it will help a lot to see if are there any problems right from the miner, without any teleconsole. Another tip is make the dashboard easier to change the OC settings without enter in another screen, at the smartphone it will be better.
Again, congrats for the wonderful job.

First off fantastic OS. mmpOS was so simple to setup my two rigs with seven total Vega 56's.
Now my question is there any way to remotely examine the log files on the rigs remotely?
I have looked everywhere on the miner management screen (Dashboard, Rigs, etc) but I cannot see any options to examine the actual logs on the rigs themselves.

+1 It's very hard to diagnose which card is not stable if the system restarts randomly. Yes, you can SSH into it, but still. And watchdog.log location too

HiveOS which is what I was using before mmpOS allowed me to access the rig directly from the client screen. That was why I expected to see something similar with mmpOS.
I do have a SSH windows client so I will try to use that but I have a couple of questions.
1. How can I find the IP address of the rig I want to SSH into? 2. Is there a port number needed along with the IP address? 3. I assume that Rig Name and Password I used in creating the Rig is what I use to log in with 4. Any help in where I can find the various mmpOS logs is appreciated or any other info on the rig that is useful

On web dashboard...click RIGS Select rig and should show info screen for rig with graphs of rig. Click System tab for rig...local ip is local ip. just ssh miner@(localip) bang you in....or just use the client through the web interface to pull up terminal on rig. And user is miner...password is what you set

1- How to set timezone on server??? all timezones in linux has been set to UTC that makes all the things go wrong for my monitoring, and user "miner" is not root and I'll get lots of errors: ""Failed to set time zone: The name org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1 was not provided by any .service files""
so i cant change timezone or install any packages other than installed.
2- do we need to run anything for patching driver for moded bios?
3- the document for running advanced commands is very poor. actually not existed.
4- and very noob question, how to start my desired miners after configuring in dashboard?

This os is very good os with lots of potentials. But it'll be much better if we could customize "miner" screen to our needs and color output on miner screen itself. I think I'm gonna switch to mmpos myself.
