Can't you buy bitcoin on Coinbase with paypal?
Nope, you can only withdraw on Coinbase with PayPal- I assume this is because of the risk involved with PayPal transfers into the site, as lots of stolen or fraudulently acquired funds go through PayPal daily. This forum's still a good place to transfer PayPal to BTC.

Can I buy cryptocurrency or deposit fiat using PayPal?

Currently, customers are only able to use PayPal to withdraw or sell, and transaction availability depends on region. Coinbase does not support the ability to purchase digital currency using your PayPal account.

Well virwox has a great service for paypal.

2 things might happen block your withdraw for 2-3 days until they are sure of charge backs if it is the third trade but the fee will kill you

I use them since 2014-2015 but they are terrible, each time I come back they block me, luckily last time when I used paypal was like 2 years ago.

From 620$ if it is the first trade you ll get around 500$ maximum in btc, but it's a safe trade.

here is the link: https://www.virwox.com/

as fact, I was scammed by an American for the first time here because of this website Grin

you'll have first to buy their linden dollars and with linden dollars to buy btc

rate is very good if you become a monthly trader there

Excellent post mate. These makes clear that sometimes it's frustrating to deal with exchanges.

@OP because of my red trust (although I never scammed a penny, I can assure you no one can give you a valid reference of me scamming a single penny) I was having hard time to trade my paypal however finally I was able to trade with jackg (thanks for trusting me, no doubt you are one of those member who I trust too). Keep trying and I am sure someone will come forward if you give them a good reason. A member left me some info on my topic. I hope this may help...
Welcome back mdayonliner  Smiley

Due to your negative trust, members are discouraged to make the trade with you despite you have a good trade history; i would suggest anybody reading this topic to check your trust summury (not only negatives) to know how much you are trustable doing trades in btt forum, as i suggest them to check links in your signature. {I always believe that you are a good member and doesn't really deserve to get your reputation destroyed but let's assume that offering an escrow for 100k $ was your worst try to build an escrow sevice reputation even you didn't scam anybody before.}

I would suggest you some sites to purchase btc using your paypal, instead of begging users here as you will always have to defend your situation about the negative trust each time you want to use the Currency exchange board:
- Paxful :
supported countries: Worldwide
fees: low
reputation: Average
- Wirex:
supported countries: Worldwide
fees: low
reputation: Average
- Etoro:
supported countries: Only non-US
fees: low
reputation: Good

I hope you find help in the sites i mentioned as i hope you don't only try to make trades here to build more positive trust in order to overstep the negative trust in your profile.

You can read the struggles I was facing from my topic too. Some of the forum member will give you the feeling that this is a hell place but trust me once you will get to know these stupid/selfish members then you will realize this forum is not that bad place. You will enjoy your time here.

Good luck.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Why is it so hard to exchange currencies in this day of age  Huh

Probably because of Paypal which when deals done through it, the escrow can't help you as Paypal is reversible up to 180 days. If you for example tried to exchange non charge back methods like Western Union to Btc and vice versa the escrow can help a ton.

Tittle, will use an escrow that we both agree on.
I will not be going first no matter how reputable

Almost all the escrow avoid to take paypal $ as escrow. As you are newbie you should try to use any exchange which supports paypal to trade. I do not think you will be able to trade from bitcointalk.
