Hi i have a problem with my Antminer S9,i dont know change the API port from 4028 to 4029. i try add in config/bmminer.conf the line "api-port" : "4029", but my antminer restart every 5 min.

Please help me

Try to look for this line "api-allow" then put this "R:0/0" and let see if it works.

If the miner still restarts you can change the link again to "W:0/0" and then check it again.

If the issue still persists copy your all config and paste it here.

The fact it it keeps restarting i am thinking you have accidentally deleted or added a wrong character,  also you have not mentioned whether you are no able to access it "before it restarts" with either new or the old port.

Was your antminer already restarting every 5 minutes before you made this change? It could be a completely unrelated issue.

No, the problem is if you change the port then the checking software in the miner wont know about the new port.

There are various programs in the miner that run - it's not a single program, it's a full linux operating system running various programs to control the miner.

If you change the API port in the mining program, then you'll have to find and change any other programs in the miner that talk to port 4028
