The ETH price increase is probably due to the hard fork, but it was at historic lows against BTC anyway, so that may have played a part. It's difficult to see whether it will continue to rise or not given that the bear market for crypto as a whole has shown no signs of abating.
yes, it is difficult for us to know for sure, whether the price of Ethereum will continue to rise and pump at a higher price, or maybe the price will come back down at a lower price, and until now there have been no signs that the crypto market will pump at even higher prices, of course this does make some investors and traders still reluctant to re-invest and trade again. |

Ethereum started pumping in the last few days. Today ETH touched $ 150 which was pumped 80% in the past few days. This is a good sign for Ethereum holders. ETH is gradually increasing in the past few days and this will get better in the future. I still believe ETH is worth investing in this time than Bitcoin. Because ETH is cheap and you can buy more quantity when ETH increases. I am also buying ETH because i think ETH will return to $ 200 at the beginning of February. |

now you hold eth for a long period of time (investment) or to make a profit, for me to sell part of it to enjoy it and it can also be used to buy eth back when low prices Thats call a short term trading, I also do that, some time ago I bought ETH under $100 and now the price has reached $150, rise almost two times of course this is a very good price change for ETH, it looks like a positive trend has occurred in the ETH market  The next update will decrease the rate of inflation in the ethereum market, miners will dump less ethereum in the next month and there was a lot of improvements that has already explained very well in the whitepaper. ethereum is about to go to the moon. The point is that going up and down prices will always happen, not only on Ethereum. so it's reasonable if in few days ahead the price will fall but then the price will definitely rise. this is about how people are patient and smart in seeing conditions and opportunities |

I think you should still hold your ETH. upcoming ETH has hard-fork events and ETH holders will have an advantage. ETH selling now is not good. You should wait longer, the 11th will decide whether you are profitable or not. |

The hardfork that will happen at this time is different from the hardfork which happened to other altcoins as happened earlier in BCH. Where when hardfork is finish then there will be a new altcoin come out, but this time that come to pass on ETH will not produce a new altcoin. Hardfork ETH only updates the system, like you update Instagram or wallet on your smartphone, and I'm not sure any investor will be interested in this considering the cryptocurrency market is still in the bearish market. |
