Any news that is related to crypto could really make it pump and would make it strong. But I guess there are still some things that would make the news to be strong enough to have an effect to crypto.

Supply of any coin does really effect the price as is the basic rule of economics but btc already has a small and limited supply and for miners block reward gets halvened every 4 years i guess and next is coming in 2020 i guess, so hold till that and im sure we are going to moon with btc after next halving.

I agree. Supply is a really important aspect that could really make the market be active and be invigorated again. Most people these days have resorted to holding their Bitcoin, so it would follow that since everyone is on a waiting game, the amount of transactions happening in the market would also die down, which would bring it in a slump at the expense of everyone in it.
