Well, that's the reason people say time will speak the entire world doesn't even cared about this when it was Introduced. Last year it showed a massive record performance those who believed in this made huge profits and those who were making fun are still the same.

lol...This has been what the naysayers have been ranting about for years now. They really are wishing for Bitcoin to go to zero so they can call ot a win on their side but they seem to forget that with every rise it comes with, people in the community grows and become stronger and I think the same thing is what we are experiencing. Recently, I read some articles saying that Bitcoin has died over 90 times in this year alone, but where are we, we're still here lol.

This thread also shows where bitcoin was in 2011 and where it`s now. Some of us point this fact all the time, but people are obsessed with price, rises and drops, they just see tops and bottoms. Reality is that we can`t compare price of bitcoin 7 years ago and now, we can`t compare popularity, usage, adoption, bitcoin is growing each year. Bitcoin died more than thousand times in 4 years as I know, fud will never stop, but bitcoin is too strong, we are still here and we will stay here.

I think it's normal if those people says trade bitcoin is worthless because on that year bitcoin was very cheap and only several people who bought bitcoin even probably the people who bought bitcoin at that time were never be thinking to hold but i'm pretty sure those people were regret if they see the current price for bitcoin and i think they also wondering that why not buy more bitcoin at that year

In that year, bitcoin has not worth at all, and people don't mind to buy at that price. But if people in that time was saving their bitcoin until now, I guess they will laugh at loud because right now, they are making a million dollars from bitcoin. I guess that if in the future, bitcoin price can reach the very highest price, people in the future, will say that it is ridiculous to buy bitcoin at $3-$4k because, in their year, they won't see that price again because the price is too expensive to buy.

Lol... What do y'all think?

Here is a bitcoin discussion that has been going on since 2011  Grin

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/30/business-finance-investing/bitcoins-digital-currency-1011408/
There are people that will claim for the rest of their lives that bitcoin is a bubble despite the evidence against it, it was true back then, it is true now and it will be true in the future, I will not be surprised if during the next years the price of bitcoin keeps growing and people begin to look for comments that were made during the bear market of 2018 and they begin to wonder what were those people thinking by believing that the price of bitcoin will keep crashing.

If you take the time to think about it you will understand why long term holders keep getting richer and richer while everyone else keeps losing money, some people are just concentrated on the current price and how much money they are losing when they should be focusing on what the price will be during the next years.

In the past, bitcoin did not have prices like now and many people don't think like this. there is someone who exchanges bitcoin with pizza and even throws away their computers that contain thousands of bitcon.

Bad thing about those days is that I knew about bitcoin even those times. I even had like 6 bitcoins stashed somewhere (that I can't remember where) and I was looking at it like a game money. Kinda like wow golds or something like that, it wasn't really money to me at those times.

After that short one day or two interest I stopped caring about it until it was like 150 dollars or so in 2012-2013 times which I started back and this time I was really into it. I am still quite early to bitcoin but I could have been so much more earlier than my current stance. Of course as everyone would assume I have sold my coins when it went up and didn't kept too much, I do not posses any amount that means anything now but at least I made a decent profit from it and I am still earning more and more each day because I believe it will be even more than current price in the future.

Pretty much everyone feels this way, no matter when they got involved. I've been here for almost 6 years now, and believe me, I was much more skeptical back then and missed my shot multiple times at being quite wealthy.

That's why there are millions of lost coins out there. In the early years, there weren't many people who had the foresight to predict Bitcoin's growth. Like Laszlo paying for 2 pizzas with 10K BTC. This effect lessens over the years as Bitcoin's prospects for mass adoption become stronger and stronger. It's what allows early adopters to gain so much. When the whole world is skeptical, betting on adoption is very high risk/high reward. Hardly anyone seemed to take Bitcoin seriously before 2013.

Time proves them wrong and its good that this market was able to survive even a lot of people saying negative things just to destroy the reputation of bitcoin. Now we are slowly coming back from the peak, and there’s a lot of hope this year. Bitcoin will hit the media again this year because the journey to a new ETH is about to begin.

That is why I keep on saying that bitcoin is one of the Best investments one can make currently and we should forget about those that are saying bitcoin is death and bitcoin will not rise again.  I think now should be the best time for one to invest in bitcoin and make good money when it recover.

I wanna hear what are those people might say when they learn about bitcoin price reached almost $20,000 last 2017,since the $0.70 is ridiculous that year 8 years before now

Bitcoin is in some way a paradoxical thing, analogs of which have never existed before either in nature or in society, therefore how its development takes place is very surprising and shocking, someone was shocked by the price of 70 cents for 1 BTC, now someone is shocking by the price of several thousand dollars. As long as its price continues to grow, it will occur constantly.

'For a currency that no one uses' lol. What exactly is this guy going through now as he view the price of bitcoin. His lamentations will be one hell of funny now.. Simple, never be too quick to judge. I guess in 2011, a lot of investors did and say ridiculous things about Bitcoin. Very few believe in the existence of cryptocurrency.

Because at that time bitcoin was only used by a small number of people, so he didn't know the positive effects of the value of the unstable bitcoin (real unstable). Therefore, this bitcoin is considered less attractive and is not feasible if used as an investment. Besides that, the market for cryptocurrency buying and selling is also not reliable, when compared to banks and stock brokers (that's the opinion of people in the past).

At that point it actually made sense for people to be skeptical about something that hasn't had the time to prove itself. The panic that has been going through the market during corrections must have been frightening.

People currently think that Bitcoin could become worthless overnight, which is ridiculous, but at that point it wasn't that far away from becoming reality, so I definitely understand the fear within that time frame.

I occasionally browse through old speculation threads where people were going nuts on each other during crashes. Some made fun of others who bought the top of a rally (still below $10) that we right now can only dream of.

Speculation on this forum is still the same after all the years, the only difference is the price.

Something similar has happened to most of us anyway, I also knew about bitcoin but I decided that it was not for me and that it was too soon to try to make anything with it, then years passed and I forgot about the whole deal until I found out that bitcoin was now worth a lot, as you may guess I regret not taking bitcoin seriously from the beginning but it does not matter, what it is important is that I am here and I am one of the few that are trying to accumulate bitcoin before it skyrockets again.

While the rest of the people do not even see anything wrong with fiat currency we are taking the time to accumulate the currency that will surely be an important part of the economy in the future.

Let’s just enjoy the so called experts who ridicule bitcoin frothing at the mouth every time bitcoin rises & reaches a new ATH.

Let’s become the next generation of wealthy elite whilst the doubters kick themselves for not investing.

Normal people will always have this mind set whatever comes to the bitcoin and the blockchain technology they are just going to blame it unless they are going to get benefited from it. You are also don't be a common man just be ready to face the risk and become unique on your own.

Most people from a very early age are taught to not take risks and to play it safe, so whenever they see something new instead of being intrigued they claim it will not work, the same happened to the internet and almost any other great innovation, in the case of the internet it was called a fad and many people did not saw a need for it, which is similar to what is happening with bitcoin, but eventually they will see the benefits and will claim that people like us were just lucky to adopt bitcoin so early.
