i posted about my small farm in bitcoin mining board and then realised that the majority of my ASICs are actually alts miners, therefore i did not want to move the topic from there as some people might find it useful there too, so i decided to repost on the ALTs too. The front The back if you want more details on how i built it you can read the full story here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5087770.0but in general with this isolation design i got 2 major improvements over the classical. 1- Miners now run much cooler. 2- Noise is reduced to a good level. so if you are facing any of these above issues , you might consider this type of set up. if you have any questions, refer to my original post, if the answer is not there, feel free to ask and hopefully i will be able to assist you. happy mining

wow, do you get enough money to pay the electricity bill? or are you one of those that are "investing" on crypto "for future" lol.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

Wow i like that What's the temperature inside room and where are you from? i would like to keep the where i am from " secret" as for the temps , if you mean the hot side , god knows , i never really bothered about measuring it. for the "cold" side it ranges from 15 to 25 in winter and fall, and from 25 to about 32 in the summer and spring. i use an AC in the summer because the temps out side get way to high. * all numbers are in degrees Celsius

(I mean the wall) This is my first time seeing this set-up and im wondering if on the other side do have ventilation or just opening up the door for releasing of heat? About the noise i think it doesnt have difference.

About the noise i think it doesnt have difference. fully divided yes. ventilation is important but depending on the size of the hot room, if big enough, then simply opening the door will be enough. the noise part , it makes a HUGE difference, once both doors are closed and you are sitting outside the noise is much less than in open space, they teach us this in 2nd grade! when you isolate the noise, it gets reduced. if you want more details check the original post.

Ambient temperature is the most important thing, I mean, if a room is close to a 40c, do not add more miners to it, split to other rooms which the ambient temperature is lower than 40c. You should never let the room be more than 40c, most good psus are rated 50c but you should never let any with more than 40c. Mining is still dead at moment but I think soon as eth fork is coming in july and that will be huge, eth might reach 1k again soon, regardless of it, I would buy eth and not mine it, not worth, in your case looks like you are dealing with asics which is a totally different thing but like i said before watch for the psus.

Correct, as long the heat wont be suppressed or isolated inside then it wont really be problem yet theres an exhaust fan plus you can opt out to open the doors would be enough. Mining ETH isnt really a problem though if you do have low electricity cost but for your situation ASIC mined coins would just depend on which coin do really gives you positive outcome.

So which software do you (or plan to) use to manage your ~30 ASICs? Or you do it over standard interface?

Just realised I don't know how to say that in correct English). Well that doesn't matter but would love to leak secrets haha. Btw you did well in noise reduction, very good set up. Really, how much does electricity worth for you? Mining doesn't worth for me despite the fact that I have cheap electricity, better to save my GPUs now and continue their load once mining gets profitability. If I mine now for cents, doesn't worth, my GPUs will waste their resources for nothing, I am not he one who cares much on network support.

Use your cards now although may not be profitable right now bitcoin price may go up in the future while we don't know the mining future how it will be. Mine altcoins with your cards and convert them to bitcoin and as a final step keep them in a secure wallet and wait. I believe this strategy which I am also applying will pay off for us in the end.

At least looks creative. What is hidden behind the holes covering by cardboard? And the question: is noise reduced because of reducing the temp or because of dividing the room on two separate spaces?

ok you just ruined the fun, . anyway there are 22 Arab countries, you need to dig a little harder to find which country , as for "Arabic" it's a wrong term to use, you would say " it seems like you are an Arab" , but then that's just a race and not nationality, it's just like saying you are a "European". anyway, B.S aside, i pay less than 1.5 cents $ per kwh. and there is some sort of equation that electricity company uses so depending on the total consumption it varies from 1 to 2 cents, in my set up it's slightly under 1.5 cents. I don't mine with GPUs, since the release of Equihash ASICs i knew GPU mining would be a hustle, almost all GPU miners are now pointed at ETH and MONERO. not too much room for profit at current prices, also selling your rigs now is stupid as prices are very low. if you are not making any profit, best would be to turn them off, wait for prices recovery,i am almost 100% certain that in terms of performance, the current GPUs will be at the top for quite some time, so you don't have to worry about them becoming obsolete. that is just my own view on it.

in mine, it certainly should be able to get out completely in order to get maximum results. for large result did have to meet all the existing facilities. Surely with all that you have is going to need a great power so that mine was not in vain.

sorry i just noticed your question, i use awsomeminer for now, it's hard to monitor everything through standard interface,
