As we know that only 1% people in india aware about cryptocurrency like btc ,eth etc.so lot of scope of cryptocurrency in the world,in india in 2009 no body knows the name of modi now in 2019 whole world the name of modi is the P.M of india , same thigs is with btc and eth ,so still hold BTC or ETH .its a future and sky is the limit
I can very well tell that majority of the people in India have heard about bitcoin but investing in it is a different ball game altogether but majority have heard about the market and the risk involved in it, i have being to many group and the main doubt they have is that whether it is legal, so once we get off that grey area and make things clear, we will see more investors from India.
When it comes to Modi was a well known figure during his reign as chief minister in Gujarat and he was not granted visa to US and other countries because of his bad reputation of instigating riots and human rights violation, after becoming the Prime minister he toured every country simply because of the perks it comes when you become the leader  Tongue.

It does not matter whether to hold or not. What matters is the presence of planned investment. When it comes to the crypto investment, last bitcoin debacle has left a bad taste  in many investor's mouth. On top of that Govt policies against crypto has totally crippled the crypto-market in India. At this stage only peer to peer transactions are happening.
Coming back to original question of holding or not, since last few days bitcoin has bounced back and now it is just over 8000 USD mark. That is good thing, isn't it?

There are many people having the knowledge of crypto currency and holding it as well but they are not expressing themselves about this to others even with friends which is the reason why adoption rate is much lower in India.

But still on localbitcoins we can able to sell or buy bitcoins at instantly with INR or lot other methods which always keep the price of bitcoin to be higher than world's market price.

It is so refreshing to go through a thread after a long enough timeframe has gone by! Gives you a brand new perspective on how we were thinking and how things panned out.

Wondering at the current situation, how many of you still have faith in Bitcoin or Ethereum, and how long are you planning to hold them
I am more confident and believe in both Bitcoin and Ethereum, than other types of coins, who thinks what happened to Luna, all 70% of investors believe, sadistic ending.

I think there is nothing better than Bitcoin and Ethereum in today's crypto world.

I still hold both and I will hold on for the next 2-3 years.

Yes, because everything is cyclic and these currencies are not exception, besides statistics shows it too. Sometimes market needs to "go down" before the boost and I suppose that we will see it till the end of the year.
But personally I prefer more BTC and keep the most in it.
