VIRWOX STOPPED ACCEPTING PAYPAL/Credit Cards

I went to buy BTC yesterday and Virwox stopped accepting PayPal and Credit Cards.
I went to Reddit and this seems to be happening to others but not everyone.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON?   IS THIS TEMPORARY? 
Sent email to Virwox yesterday but not expecting a responce.

I tried to look if there are some updates regarding this but unfortunately I haven't found one. There's still those logo's of Paypal and credit cards on their first page so I doubt it that they stopped working with those.

The best thing that you can do right now is to contact/email their support: https://www.virwox.com/contact.php

And address those problems you experienced.

Oh bummer, it would suck if they stopped accepting Paypal altogether.
Perhaps Paypal shut them down or something like that? I thought it was against Paypal's TOS to use it to buy crypto.

I'm not 100% sure of that though.

dealing with paypal is not an easy task, i believe that paypal should be requiring documents that these companies are not the time to deliver, i saw this on the paypal site:

Service Requiring Pre-Approval

Airlines and scheduled or non-scheduled charters/jets/air taxi operators; collecting donations as a charity or non-profit organization; dealing in jewels, precious metals and stones; acting as a money transmitter or selling stored value cards; selling stocks, bonds, securities, options, futures (forex) or an investment interest in any entity or property; or providing escrow services.

I think that for the type of service that VIRWOX offers, they will have to have many documents so that paypal accepts that they use paypal

So according to your wording it's credit and debit cards via Paypal checkout, not Paypal itself.

I don't understand how they've managed to keep Paypal for as long as they have considering Linden Dollars are a bit of hazy area regarding their terms, let alone BTC.

Since it's holiday season they might stop accepting temporary for PayPal and credit card until the end of this year.

I don't see any update about their service so if you want to find the reason behind this try to contact their support from this email support@virwox.com or this one according to their contact page office@virtualworldservices.at

It's less than 24h, it could be just a technical issue, but usually, when a website doesn't give any news, you can consider the situation has definitive. I suppose if they've never had a real problem it's maybe because their currency is just a video game thing (You can't use it outside their game, right?)
