Just received an email about "Blockchain and Stellar announced airdrop for everyone!"

They have given a link of airdrop from where they are collecting information of blockchain.info
Their link of google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeK1WtoWzbA9F1JJmHGNAJV4h8sjjtcNQh_SxtqmhbIX1CU1w/viewform
From where you will see web link: http://blockchain-airdrop.space/ which will seem like the original site but their website is not real.

in the last weeks there are people who are devoting much to steal funds from the blockchain.com wallet, here in the forum for example, there is a guy who is posting in various sections of the forum to deceive people so he can steal the password of people who has an account at blockchain.com. I already reported to the moderator, but he always creates more accounts.

"Enter your existing wallet" -> These fucking scammers are getting dumber these days! Dumb are also the people who fall victim to such scams. I remember signing up for the same airdrop a couple of weeks back and it all happens on their official website. Either way, one has to do a KYC to get about 20-50 USD from that airdrop. It is as good as not doing it.

Though it wasn't about the airdrop, I'd like to share here the email I received since it's another attempt in hacking Blockchain.com wallets. I didn't bother downloading the attachment to see what's in there, obviously it's a phishing attempt considering the email address from where it came and the need of 12 word seed phrase.

I too have blockchain.info wallet for too long,,I never received any kind of these emails from them so which is obviously scam attempt by the people but I wonders how they know you email address which is used to login for the blockchain wallet?

Keep separate email for wallet purpose which needs to be anonymous and just use only for online wallets to restrict these emails.
Just a tip if you are logged into that mail into your android check for the application which has no icon and name which will be at the last of installed application which is the scammer's thing to hack your phone.

They usually collect email address from the spreadsheet of bounty campaign.

Keep separate email for wallet purpose which needs to be anonymous and just use only for online wallets to restrict these emails.
Just a tip if you are logged into that mail into your android check for the application which has no icon and name which will be at the last of installed application which is the scammer's thing to hack your phone.
Thanks for the advice though I do as you mentioned. That's why I could stay safe and can know about their phishing email.

It is obviously another scam attempt. Blockchain will never ask you seed to verify and without doing so they will suspend your account. Actually, they will never ask you to provide seed. They can only ask if you can't log in and want to log in by the seed.

That's kind of clever (sans the non blockchain.com email address, and google docs signup  Roll Eyes ) seeing as how blockchain.com really did have a $20 Stellar giveaway.

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/itcoin-wallet-blockchain-cryptocurrency-stellar-lumens-airdrop-giveaway-a8621476.html

However, all I had to do was enter in my email address to be eligible for it.
