HI all thers is a news  surround the crypto ether hard forked like bch // many are says its not hard fork // this just a update,,, plz make  clear guys every one comment will appreciate
No hard fork will be real same as Bitcoin and bitcoin cash. The update will be a little later it will include investing in ETH and mining from storage and more. Wait for an official statement from the development team.

Ethereum fork and Ethereum 2.0 is a good sign for the market. Beacuse most of the tokens base with erc20 platform so rising of Ethereum should affect them too.

If there is a hard fork on January 11, for example, I have 10 ethereum, how many comparisons will I receive ETCV, is it 1: 1 or 1:10 I don't know ??
As far as I know it will be 3:1. Every Ethereum in the wallet will receive three ETCVs. But not all wallets will accept and using supporting wallets are more reasonable.

I confuse, why it look with ETCV I mean hardfork no any connect do all, I dont think ETCV what happen it, do know core-team or anyone within developer?

We need to know the Hardfork is part of the development of ecosystem-related functions refer to the agenda and several sources like on Github developer ethereum. the Hardfork is mostly Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) describe standards for the Ethereum platform, including core protocol specifications, client APIs, and contract standards.

I saw Hardfork at block 7080000 - current block = ..... x 14.5 seconds/block miner = .... : 86400second/24hour = xxxx day.

Meeting-Agenda Dev, prepare before of HF Friday 04th January
Quote

note, the hardfork will not set any new coin other things like old ethereum classic (ETC) so an original preparing of ethereum 2.0 and under-main PoS also an including scalability (TPS/network/etc).

ETH's main fork will be on the 16th of this month and no new coin is expected. There will be fork in 11 January, which ETCV will be created. Check it: https://ethereumcv.io

Hello, the hard fork of Ethereum will open in January, when you only need to put ETH in your wallet, you will receive the token when you fork.

Thanks for this sir, I have seen the Ann thread, was about to ask the same question. But I have a clarification to make, going through different articles about the hardfork which is coming up on 11th  January 2019, I really didn't see anything like a new coin been created. All I could see is just majorly the upgrade of the network otherwise known as the Constantinople. Please, do you have any detailed articles that cover the new coin to be shared in 1:3 ratio? Thanks a lot.

since you got some ideas, hope many will share there own too.

from my side i just want to understand, how this works, etcv, do you mean they are changing or adding. like bch=bchcv

It is not basically an update. It is an upgrade where the whole blockchain is changed, the code is changed, everything you can see in the ethereum is changed.
How will it affect the current ETH holders?
It will really affect the ethereum holders simply because the price might spike again and aside from hard fork they can gain another token will be give after the hard fork. There few days before the ethereum update and I really hope that because of this update it might triggered the price to increase again.

Yes, about this fork Constantinople a lot of talk goes, and many are waiting for it, I think it specifically for the growth of the market is adjusted, and the approval of the SEC,and it will serve as a good explosive mechanism that will give a boost to Ethereum, very much in the price to rise, well, as they say

There was no a correlation between ethereum fork and ethereum 2.0
Ethereum fork is not a part of ethereum 2.0 and you should know the differences between both of things. The rising of ethereum caused by ethereum 2.0 update

Ethereum Hard fork (Constantinople) has been confirmed by many big exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, Coinex.  The block height has been stated and also a date range, say between 14th to 18th according to Kucoin, so no exact date and time was stated. This will be a major transition for ETH blockchain,  from POW to POS and it sounds good to me. So basically, it's just a major upgrade on the existing architecture and not forming a new crypto.

It will be only a development upgrade as I know and now new coin will be released.
Anyway, the market reacts on it positively as ETH  price is increasing faster than other coins do.

HI all thers is a news  surround the crypto ether hard forked like bch // many are says its not hard fork // this just a update,,, plz make  clear guys every one comment will appreciate

This January would be an exciting month to Ethereum supporters as the blockchain will be expecting three hardforks.
Details of which are as follows:
1. Classic Vision Hard Fork on 11 Jan 2019 and all Ethereum holders will receive 3 ETCV for each ETH in their wallets.
2. Ethereum Nowa Fork on 12 Jan 2019 and each ETH holder receives ETN in the ratio of 1:1 for free.
3. Constantinople Fork on 16 Jan 2019 (or earlier) Constantinople Mainnet hard fork scheduled for block #7080000

Looking at these updates, the Constantinople Mainnet hard fork is arguably the most significant fork because of the benefits it can provide the ethereum blockchain like  Ethereum’s transition from using a proof of work protocol to proof of stake.

The only thing I can say is that the ETH project today has a lot of publicity that will be in the new hard fork after it is released, let's see how it will work in practice.

I read some post on social media that there will be three hard forks for Ethereum. The promising one is the Constantinople Fork which will happen on block #7080000.

So many people are coming up with their different opinions. As far as I understand, first it is called a fork and this can come up in two different forms. It is either it is either on the coin or the network itself, but I think it will be on the two, but it will happen in faces. First, the team is dealing with the coin, by creating another coin, then another phase will be to upgrade the system and introduce more and better features.

A hard fork means an update of a coin. You are not gonna receive any token/coin for that. Ethereum will just simply add a code in the eth blockchain for making it PoS. So, hardfork is only a kind of system update.

There will be 3 forks:
11.1. Ethereum Hard fork - Ethereum Classic Vision will be created.
12.1. Ethereum Hard fork - Scam Ethereum Nowa will be (probably) created.
16.1. - Ethereum Hard fork - Constantinople update, this will get Ethereum closer to PoS update.

After the hard fork, hopefully ethereum prices will skyrocket again and soon reach $ 1,000, I hope that 2019 will become a crypto moment and revival so investors are not afraid to invest
