When I started to use bitcoin it was pure because it was decentralized, transparent, quick, no high fees, no signatures, no possibility of chargebacks etc. At that time price was around 5-$20 and unfortunately I was too ignorant to realize it's potential.

As of right now main use of Bitcoin would be as investiment or trading. Higher transaction fees with limited transactions per block limits it's use as a daily payment method.

Yeh, I have a similar feeling. When I type Sell buttom, I feel really nervous. I know that in the next year it would be much more and now I'm selling it. It's better to hold without any movements.

Good question, I wonder what it would take to make bitcoin more suitable for day to day use. I think the price needs to stabilize and there need a number of breakthroughs in second layer solutions. Right now I'm pretty sure the main use is as a store of value and it's mostly used on exchanges where it's traded by bots. Kinda sucks knowing that a peer to peer currency is primarily used for trading on centralized exchanges... like... what??

for me bitcoin is my personal offshore trust fund.

i didnt need to hire solicitors or accountants to set it up, i didnt need to sign contracts or declarations. i just bought some bitcoin.

many people who would love to have a trust but think all the legal stuff of fiat trusts is a turn off are starting to see how just buying bitcoin is the easiest way to create their own personal family trust and store funds away securely out of jurisdictional/taxable/financial rules

bitcoin is also my easy way to play markets. much easier than playing the penny stocks/forex. much more fun and dramatic too.

bitcoin is also my electronic cash where i use my profits to buy food, pay bills without getting bank statements or card statements in the mail.

its also better at privacy and security. i know people who shop using fiat and they get bombarded with jumkmail from the mailman with leaflets from businesses they frequent using their debit cards. meanwhile my mailbox happily just gets personal correspondance

using bitcoin i have never had to worry about things like bank robberies, visa hacks, paypal, amazon hacks. never needed to worry about card cloning, id theft. or other fiat concerns

You feel naked because of the constant feeling that you are going to miss profits.
The same feeling started growing on me during the last 2 years.Before that,I didn't care that much about having or not having bitcoins.I know that this though/feeling/hope saves me from depression.

I cannot resist the urge to ask merchants if they accept Bitcoin payment and I always send a email to customer support, when I visit online ecommerce sites, to ask if they plan on accepting Bitcoin in the future.

I think when you used Bitcoin to pay for something and you see the potential to take this mainstream, then you cannot stop the urge to spread merchant adoption. <It is a safer method and a lot more convenient>

the best use for bitcoin i believe is for financial transaction online via websites that approve of its usage and also for trading in exchangers. the option of trading in exchangers actually brings in more money than the using it as a medium of payment online but the risk is higher on trading as the altcoin being traded might depreciate in value even in the process of trading

it's true that bitcoin friends are really the future coins because investing in bitcoin will be brighter than others. I'm also sure bitcoin will be used throughout the world after the next few years.

I agree in your opinion, yes there's lot of usage of bitcoin and even me I cannot decide cause all of them are so very important. Bitcoin help me when I need load in my cellphone , on buying stuffs and also not only investing.I also learned how to trade and which help me to gain profits and knowledge too.

Bitcoin is anonymous payment system that is decentralized system without using third parties to make the transactions and for me having bitcoin as a daily use on everyday could change on how payment transactions should be in the future when mass adaptation is available. Being said the use of bitcoin i do believe that the ideology of it serves a great purpose for benefits of everyone for early adapters and investors of bitcoin.

I buy bitcoins, I earn bitcoins from the signature campaign and I also do trade so that it is possible that in a few years I will have many bitcoins and that is my retirement, this is an investment that will benefit me in the next 10 years
