I'm baffled how people unanimously defend Assange on this forum, it's like everyone is living under the rock or in some informational bubble. Today everyone knows that Assange has very close ties to Russia, that he is biased and not a free-speech fighter he claims to be. Even anti-government communities, like reddit's /r/Libertarian know this.

However, this Rothschild conspiracy is just total bullshit, and the person who came up with it is either seriously misguided or attempts to deflect the actualy and well-known conspiracy.

Yes even if they against bitcoin why should they accept payments in bitcoin . As you said most of the bankers may be supporting and taking advantage of this crypto moments most of the wales might belong to these bankers group . Is there any proven statement or evidence that they are against bitcoin. From my understanding there is nothing evident and if the service rendered by them is being overtook by something else, truly they will make plans to stop the growth of the one which has gone competing with them. Here bitcoin is the rival and for that stance they could have opposed it in some way, and for the same we cannot say they are not supposed to get donation in terms of bitcoin. These whales aren't a market manipulative authority anymore, because people have begun to analyze to the core whenever some news is being spread by whales.

wikileaks wants to blame and publish ONLY things that make OUR country look bad. people who hold dual citizenship do not feel part of

I think you'll find a whole range of different opinions about Assange on this forum, just as in the real world.
He's just a very polarizing person.

Oh please! This sounds like Alex Jones. The bankers are not behind everything, contrary to what some people believe. They certainly would not release their own classified dirt and then chase themselves publicly for 7 years.

Actually no, they even refused to publish information back in 2016 because they could not "verify it".
They claimed that information showing thousand of army reports about Russian operations in Ukraine are "insignificant".

You're going to be amazed by how many people on this forum hate the US and the EU and praise everyone who fights against them just because they've read bad things or saw some clips on yt by some "famous" analyst.
And this is highly ironic especially here, where most of the older members and developers come from the western countries, where the only exchange you can trust are in the western area and to add a cherry on top, the US and the EU are the best countries to spend your coins and best laws for cryptos.

All other things proven and unproven aside, it's really tough I think to give additional sympathy to guys who, already long overstaying their welcome smears faeces on walls. I don't doubt he did that, and I normally think anyone is free to protest, but surely not bite the hand feeding you, the hand you sought for?

It's tough to be anything these days though. Can't please everyone, by definition of taking any stand. You want to be something and you have to be a purist, you aren't allowed to be a little of anything, aren't allowed to change your mind. Tough crowd online especially;)

I was a bit suspicious too in the early days of Wikileaks due to it contributing to some big protests/revolutions back then.

Be carefull on doing good. You don't know if your donation is truelly came on the right person or beneficiary. Sometimes the term donation use as a scam keyword. It is not bad to give help but be carefull because if not you will give the chance to make a scam and it is like you tolerate bad activity.

These are the main reasons why donating to charity or organizations who are in need don't freak me at all. Haven a clear picture of the donation could be of motivation to me, but in the absence of that; count me out. Donate 30k in bitcoin to Rothschild banks to me looks like a waste of resources and should have be channel to other sources.
