After those two fantastic play-in games yesterday, we finally get to start the playoffs, what a treat...enjoy everyone.

I'm kicking off with a bet on the early Mavs/Jazz game, i won't get too much into stats with this one. Luka is sidelined with an injury, which means Jalen Brunson gonna see whole lotta shots and playing time, possibly 38+ minutes. It will be on him and Dinwiddie to keep the series close until/and if Luka returns. 20/6/5 gives almost 3x the payout that i got...looks just as good imo.

Wow, that's filled with Brunson's stats.  Sadly, there's no same game parlay with Stake yet. I like it, I may go for singles with small amounts.

I checked your post after mine and it was just 2 hours difference, that may have been the time after the Covid test of the players which maybe 3-4 hours before the game. You got a good friend there who also checks on player updates. Nice.

About the Clips vs Pelicans game, I guess I'm betting on the road team, no PG should be a problem for the Clippers.

When did you get the news about PG13? Because when I was checking last night it's not there yet. How much was the odds change when he was announced to not play because of a positive Covid illness? I bet it changed to +3 or more.

I reckon the update was just last minute like it was 2-3 hours before the game began, last night Paul George was not in the list of any category that he cannot participate in the game against the Pelicans, if PG had play that game maybe they are the ones who will face the Phoenix Suns.

Anyway, the 1st game of the playoffs will commence few hours from now. It's Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks (+/-5.5), Luka is ruled out for 2 games straight.

End of first half and Jazz is leading by 2 points, Jazz managed to change play tough defense and convert their offense.

Time for Mavs to adjust and look for a much better look and not to force their shots, Luka, as mentioned, is not playing more on
Brunson and Spencer for their offense.

The home team needs to work together and prevent Jazz from pulling away. They already gaining the momentum, Bojan and Clarkson
already got double digit points, while Mitchel and Gobert are supporting with good defense.

Minnesota is taking the lead in the 4th quarter, they are more active in this game, let's see if the Grizzlies would be able to make a good run here. Looking at the boxscore, seems like the Grizzlies are outrebounded here, and Minnesota is shooting better in the 3-point area. Good luck anyway. Thus far, Towns has a great production tonight with no foul trouble compared to the play-in game.

Minnesota were able to take Game 1, but it was not an easy one, and I'd expect Memphis to make great adjust ahead of Game 2, KAT and Edwards almost had it all easily Adams didn't play at all and Jackson Jr got into foul troubles early. That's said, it still was much of an entertaining game than Jazz vs Mavs, and it should be that way all through the series.

I went with the Warriors -6.5, Curry is still listed as GTD but I think he'll likely play today. If they win I expect them to cover the spread as well, it all comes down on which team will have the better shooting day and if Curry's limited minutes in the court will be enough to put the Warriors on top.

Also, do you guys know any other bookie that offers better odds on series handicap?  Planning to put some units on Bucks -2.5 (and maybe Suns -2.5) so far the highest i've seen was from Duelbits(currently at 1.60).

The Golden State is playing as a team in my opinion, and from the match today Stephen Curry let Jordan Poole take the floor well maybe Stephen Curry is still recovering from his injury and reserving him for the big games, and Jordan Poole is quite evolving from a rookie to playing All-star games, that is quite a big step up in my opinion, and earning his spot as the third splash bros, and right now Draymond Green is playing so the Nuggets have a quite a hard time in penetrating the Warriors defense,

Stake Odds for this game are 1.36 for the Heat while 3.25 for the Hawks, right now Tyler Herro, Dewayne Dedmon, Markieff Morris, P.J. Tucker, Haywood Highsmith, and Gabe Vincent is questionable if they can play for the Heat while Clint Capela and Lou Williams can not play for the Hawks and John Collins is questionable if they can play this could be a close match in my opinion even though Trae Young can score almost 30 points the tandem of Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, and Kyle Lowry could be formidable for the Heat, against the Hawks, and if Gabe Vincent for the team and if those injuries can really play they I'll be siding for the Heat aswell,

Boston Celtics VS Brooklyn Nets

Stake odds for this game are 1.57 for the Celtics while 2.49 for the Nets right now Robert Williams III can not play for the Celtics and Juwan Morgan is questionable if he can play while Ben Simmons can not play for the Nets, well Boston Celtics could be a troublesome team for the Nets and on the last three-game Celtics VS Nets it seems that he Nets can not beat the Celtics even with Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving on the team Jayson Tatum with Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smarts seems very formidable for the Nets to beat, so I will be siding with the Celtics.

Milwaukee Bucks VS Chicago Bulls

Stake odds for this game are 1.20 for the Bucks while 4.80 for the Bulls, well this game seems obvious right, and in my opinion, it is a risk to even bother betting for the Bulls while last three games for these teams Bucks always win, so my picks for the Bucks but not going to bet for them, maybe I will go with the player props,

Phoenix Suns VS New Orleans Pelican

Stake Odds for this game are 1.14 for the Suns while 6.00 for the Pelicans, well the last three-game the Pelican might get a win over the Suns but definitely, this could be another win for the Suns, but just like the Bucks vs the Bulls I am not risking a bet because of the odds but I am betting for the Players Props, on my favorite players this will be a win for the Suns.

Congratulations bro, you got it right. I didn't pick any of them as I want to see first how much the difference is. Now it's clear. Nuggets with just Jokic doing all the work cannot handle it. He needs a lot of help.

3/4 Thank you @morvillz7z for the Brunson player props. Obviously, Mavs will lose that game without Luka Doncic but I am glad their roleplayers tried that hard even undermanned. Rumors say he might also miss game 2. That's not how I imagined Mavs to end this series.

Yes, they cover the initial spread for us and with some to spare.

If could have been a different series if Murray and Porter Jr is playing with the Nuggets. But as you have said, Jokic is carrying the team on his shoulder, but this is a playoff series now and it's hard to do that for at least 4 games.

I like the Nets tomorrow, though they are the underdog, I feel they are still the better team as both Durant and Irving have a great experience in the playoffs. I understand that the Celtics are playing great basketball in the season, but this is playoffs, great players do excel. Look what happen to the Memphis, I'm seeing the same result.

Everyone is laying the Nets it seems.  I liked them but that's scary.  I will take the celts -4 at home.  Will hedge with an over bet.  If the Nets get hot this could end up over 250 points total.  Then in the later game I like the pels to keep it close with the Suns but eventually lose.  Good luck everyone and enjoy the games!  Go knicks 😂

The celts are better than what people give them credit for.  Durant and kyrie will get theirs.  If the Nets win they will need someone else to step up like brown.  Bruce brown might be the key to this series as the Celtics d is gonna be tight. Tough to win in Boston too.  Can't wait for that game to start to be honest.
