Cryptocurrencies have only been 10 years into our lives. I don't think there are so many people we can call experts yet. But there are many people who are trying to manipulate the market badly, and they call themselves experts.

2019 is very important for cryptos. This year everyone's expectation is very high. This can even create an effective FOMO.

This thread could have been open in speculative sections of the forum as we could have had healthy discussions there. However we should see 2018, as a corrections year and that means bitcoin got out of Fibonacci level before and it has to retrace.

volume indicators do predict the price movement to some extent but you have to combine it with some candlestick formations.
We can used those formations in looking for the entry and exist point.  I think we can now buy bitcoin and it is still have strong dominion over others cryptocurrencies.

I would not be so sure .. There are many altcoins that have dropped in percentage much more than Bitcoin, which can mean a lot more potential for grow prices. However, I think that the most important will be ubdates from the team about development of each project.

No one can predict what will happen in 2019, for sure there are some scenarios of what will happen, but what will really trigger any of them is unknown, we have huge events that will take place in 2019 and most of the predictions are surrounded around them but does these events will really lead to a bull-run? the simple answer is yes, but the reality is that bull-run can happen before these events or after them or even not happen at all during 2019.

What the OP is asking for really is someone with a crystal ball who can
predict the next 12 months so that they can either pour everything into
bitcoin or not. There are no such guarantees, nobody can accurately
predict events and peoples reactions to them for the next month let alone
12 months.

We can't predict the exact future. But by the speciation, we can say that in early days in 2019, price will hit a big amount. Price is starting to rise and it will be continue. This a chance to make huge profit by buying at this time.  Don't worry about the price.

There is no such thing as a crypto expert, just people that work in the industry making their best guess but are usually incorrect. Just look at tommy lee and his outrageous predictions that are off by a margin of around $10,000

I am not a crypto expert. I am just a simple crypto user that love using my Bitcoin crypto curreency and other altcoins in my daily needs and wants for financial transactions. I am just hoping that this year, 2019 will bring a new chapter to a great prosperity of the crypto currency world.

Im just hope this bad 2018 time for cryptocurrency will be passed away. Hope a new year will be a new miles stone in my life as i hope to gain financial freedom in 2020. 2019 will be a good time for buying instead still in bloodbath for crypto. That will be my prediction for the new year.

In the current situation, I don't expect experts to estimate the right price. As time goes on, so after the cryptocurrency gets old, the analyzes will be more accurate. I think the current analysis is similar to the analysis after the price increase last year.

I am no expert but I have been listening to a lot of analyst and the same thing is being said.

Might as well look at the market of stocks, equities, bonds and commodities.
Now think about it if they are also downtrend.
Their old investors will find a way to create room for profit so they will look for a cheaper commodity.
If none then it will be bitcoin as the apple of the eye.
Why?
Simple. Bitcoin is down for a large percentage and the only trend it will go is up. There is no sideways here.

I also do not declare myself as an expert but I have been watching the market since year 2016 and I am hoping and still assuming that the bitcoin price will be higher next year. I am currently waiting for its price to go up because I am hodling my bitcoin.
