Honestly it was a missconception. Satoshi's desire made bitcoin is for payment systems not as a tool to get wealth easily. It's just that the price determined by supply and demand makes the price of bitcoin very volatile and this is used by all bitcoin users to make a profit. I guess that is not wrong, but who only hopes that every bitcoin user can accept the first concept of bitcoin again, so at a continuous price as now it is not a reason for them to leave.

If cryptocurrency is one of the quickest way to become a millionaire, then why not all people who are investing in cryptocurrecy are millionaires? Cryptocurrency investment is risky, it's not a guaranteed way to earn money in a quick way. It's not an over-night process.

I think Satoshi wanted to create an alternative and new level of the way to do transactions. As indicated on the introduction of Bitcoin as "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System", it is obviously designed to make a system that involves Electronic Cash or Digital Currency.
Due to the popularity of Bitcoin and high demand, that's the reason why most people were hooked into it and got rich in no time.
