Is a hard fork good or bad?

Hard fork is a means of scaling a project more although it's has been turned to a quick means of grabbing cash, but overall the reason for hard forks is to upgrade a system. In a way its a good thing.

When a coin moves forward to a hard fork I think it will definitely go up but for a while, and I will invest in the coin that has done the hard fork and I will also hold back for a while until the price I expect is reached. But if the price doesn't move anymore, surely I will immediately sell it, and that's probably the right step.

What impact in the long run hard fork will have on the ETH network is not clear in advance. The goal of each hardfork is to make positive changes to the blockchain platform. At the moment, I see the positive impact of the announced hard fork in the ETH network, as many acquire ETH, hoping to get a free coin, thereby increasing its value.

I think that's a good thing, because it's one of the development of coins to attract more investors. but indeed when there is a hard fork, it will make the market a little hiccup.

I don't see that, I believe that after the update of the hard fork of Ethereum will make it more solid and have a better price on the market. Because the current price of ETH is too low for people to trust and buy them more than Bitcoin

I think hard fork is good. The price will rise or fall thats depends Hardfork itself. if i own a coin that announced a hard fork, i will hold the coin until the hard fork has been done.

Good or bad for a coin holding a rigid fork with the advent of a new coin, one cannot say for sure. This is one of the main ways of developing and improving cryptocurrency. If the development of a certain cryptocurrency is stalled for any reason, then hardfork is one way out of this situation. In any case, I do not think that forks harm cryptocurrency. Users always have the choice to use an old or new coin.

The purpose of the forking actually ia good, forking happen because there are bunch of people requested the better version of the coin, but most of the time people used the forking to make themselves become rich, usually when the coin want to fork the price will go up because people will buy some to get the extra coin when forking, but after that there will be a correction

Hardforks are good. The only bad hardfork was bitcoin cash hardfork which cause a hashwar.
Haswars are not good to community and price drop too much because of this war.

For its improvement, yes it is advantageous to the coin. But, I don't admire hard forks that creates a new coin. For me it does only add up to the crowded numbers of coins in the market.

Hard fork happening is really good but Constantinople is the one which will badly affect the coin value. A lot of them are really scared about the market situation as how it will be affected, few say it may go down nearly to $50 and few say the value will surely increase but we have seen what happened earlier just before few months what Bitcoin cash did. The crypto space is awaited for one of the biggest and first forks of 2019. It would definitely have a huge impact on the ETH price, as it is happening to transform ETH into an updated version, which helps it to grow. We may expect that Ethereum price going high and the other cryptocurrencies might suffer a downfall for a short period of time during hard forks. Ethereum rose by around 85% over three weeks time.

We have seen similar happenings during or before Bitcoin Cash hard fork, wherein the other cryptocurrencies suffered for quite a bit of time. It is hard to predict the long-term impact of a hard fork and its evident that ETH is in a very critical phase now, as its going through a significant transition phase.

I think hard fork is good. The price will rise or fall thats depends Hardfork itself. if i own a coin that announced a hard fork, i will hold the coin until the hard fork has been done.

If you bought Ethereum a month ago then of course you will wait and it is better for beginners to wait for a better entrance to Ethereum, as the rate will now fall

In my own opinion a hardfork is good in the sense that the developers itself are trying to improve their project that results to another clone coins from the original one. But the downside of this case is that the users and community were usually divided because of the other coins that are introduced during the hardfork it creates a division of the supports from the community.

Hardfork is meant to enhance efficiency as well improvements and development of the coin/altcoins getting involved. In some cases a new coin might be Generated as a result of the hardfork while in some cases it won't rather bring a different/nee high Performance on the Coin features for users to enjoy. A good example was the BCH hardfork that happen around late 2018 while the next we are expecting soon is Ethereum hardfork.

Forked coins were just useless trash,they als like another crypto currency which will work independent of which cryptos they were forked so you don't have to invest on them if you are a holder.Maybe it will be profitable when you buy and sell them immediately before and after the fork repectively but investing at it later on makes no sense to me.

My opinion is, hard fork helps to grow or move forward. Like after Ethereum hard fork, I think ETH price will increase and hard fork coin will do better too. So, I take this hard fork positive for the Ethereum.  Constantinople is not a typical fork, there will be no new coin as I know, this hard fork will upgrade the Ethereum Network!

it all the depends on what the hard fork is focused on achieving, in the case of Ethereum, they are about to improve the blockchain which is a positive sign that the developers are working to make things better. In terms of price movement, i do not think the price will go up, since no news of a real and legit coin will be generated through this hard fork.
