Tell me should buy Bitcoin now or should I wait?

No it’s not good to wait because now price is getting high and we should try to buy as much as we can.  Some of my friends has come to me and they asked me the same so I suggested to buy now and n not to be late any more. As price is moving but still it’s not fixed yet with time it will grow more. Buy some and hold for long term trading, meanwhile keep learning all trading skills.

As much as I love crypto I would never see it as safe as it stands now. I would own bitcoin & ethereum but I think those are the only “Safe” ones and only a fairly small amount compared to my overall assets. Hopefully this all changes in the near future.

In this start of the year many of altcoins get pumping already slowly but lot of them also stock what on their price right now so it's good to buy until the of it not already pumping up.

As I see it, the first quarter of the year will not differ a lot from 2018. The market will be flexible, and Bitcoin price can vary from 3,7 to 4,7 thousand. Later, the cryptocurrencies will start growing slowly.

It’s appreciable prediction same as you I think price will be very flexible and it will keep on changing. Every year price remains different and it changes I think last year went worst so 2019 will be good and it will make this market better than before now. According to my prediction this year price will rise higher than $10000k till end.

It seems like I agree with some speculators who say the price of bitcoin will fall below $3000 to recover, at least the range of $1000 is the value that will be touched before bitcoin actually recovers. Bitcoin prices are currently at least stable and only move in the range of $3000 which is the same nature when it was at $6000 before. If the increase will take place immediately without falling lower than the present value, then I will only be surprised and may feel grateful but must be admitted if the price drops lower then it will make the situation worse. So my view is that there will be no improvement at the beginning of this year, maybe we should wait even longer to see positive movements in the crypto market.

Everything right now is still in the red. But news and everything keeps on predicting that there will be a Bull run, everyone says that 2019 will be a very good year, and I also think the same (never thought the same for last year, my thoughts were negative through out) this year is going to be something positive. According to Joel Kruger, the first half of 2019 might be weak, after that the market will begin to make its way back to the top.

I think 2019 still give new hope for traders because now the market is at the bear market and it's the right time to buy more and more. But you always need to analyze the coin before you buy because it still hard to find the good moment for the coins to increase. You need to check the volume, the buy and sell order, and if necessary, you can compare with the other exchange to see how good the movements are.

My only concern is we should not expect too much because this year will be a rough year. Many traders loose their mind due to their high expectations in the market.  We should just set standards that are easy to achieve.

The bitcoin does provide a certain amount of safety to it's investors compared to some really volatile alts with no value whatsoever,but that doesn't also reduce the risk involved in investing in the bitcoin.
It's not possible to forecast what's going to happen in 2019,and the OP should know that,we can only invest wisely and diversify our income,so if coin x fails we'll be able to fall back on coin y

i will still be positive about bitcoin.  hopefully, the weeds who have caused the slowdown of crypto will be pulled out.

I believe that Bitcoin will strengthen its positions in 2019-2020. It is not better to trade altcoin with the lower market capitalization and hold BTC. This year, I am planning to combine day trading and holding.

The bottom range is in already the past two months. I have no idea if the price will break down below the $3100 December low, but I'd give it a 50/50 change to occur during the first half of this year. Generally I see 2019 as looking pretty good, being the transition year in between bear and bull markets. I expect the price will stay in the 3000/4000 range for the first half year or so, considering much of the market seems to think it is definitely going lower, which means many people are all too willing to sell in the 3000s.

After a half year or so of stability in the 3000s/4000s (with a possible dip at some point to 2000s, though likely brief) I think enough of the market will be convinced that selling in the 3000s or 4000s is a very bad idea that we'll see the price start to rise. It could occur from events like whenever BAKKT opens or an ETF approval or other Wall St firms opening up their Bitcoin services like Fidelity and whatnot, or it could just be the natural turnaround of the market without any news events. But I think roughly this summer the turning point will begin and we'll start to see the start of the next bull market.

For trading I'd say right anytime it dips to mid or low 3000s is a great time to buy and look for 5-10% trades. There is plenty of volatility in the 3000 range to get in good trades.

I think it could get up to $8k or so by end of year as the next bull market slowly starts so trading by end of the year should be quite easy.

In my own observation on the price of bitcoin, it will not progress or go up in a year or two. So basing on our understanding, there are still some forks to expect and the price would definitely drop even below $3k.

this year all cryptocurrency will recovered in little range, i am sure this phase will not run forever.normal market has two cycle bullish and bearish.and now we are on bearish, maybe next several months it changes to bullish.

After 2018 the crypto price fell, it was time for prices to rise again. The indication is that the market is getting excited and more and more countries are receiving crypto.

My only concern is we should not expect too much because this year will be a rough year. Many traders loose their mind due to their high expectations in the market.  We should just set standards that are easy to achieve.

Yes, you are right because the market will start increasing their price when everybody lost their hope in the market. It is really impossible to predict the bull run, but surely the price will start increasing when we see some upward trend in the market.

There's nothing we can do but to hope and believe that crypto will bounce back though we aren't sure if that will happen this year, if you do believe buying can be profitable as in the long wait it will be prosper and you will be able to achieved your goal, while for those who are trying shorting it, risk factors
are heavy, we can't identify whether the market will rise or it will make another big down fall, be careful and make sure to have big patience in order
