This thread is sounding like just another discussion on superstition based gambling. Even gambling is based on luck, we cannot win by believing into God nor into superstitions. Because luck factor is beyond the reach of anything like that. It may happen on its own and may not happen too. No control over it absolutely.

OP is sounding like wishing all the gamblers here but not sure how about his experiences with gambling in 2018. I mean to say what makes him to go this much generous to all the gamblers. Probably he is in planning to start a gambling house so that he is wishing like this. I'm just kidding because this must be another unique discussion to have here.

theres no difference no matter what year you are because god cant still help you won  in a gambling game  . god can help you on other more legal things but he also knows that gambling is not so good because involves money which can also result for greed and addiction  .  almost all of us including me are always praying before we start a game because we want to earn so badly but unfortunately god didnt answer our prayers .

Yes, lucky does depend on years cause it goes randomly and ones strives, determination and planned will bring it on ones way which is why some people don't believe much in luck.
With that been said, God does interfere with gambling cause he's the judge of everything.

God sees everything we does on earth and when it comes to gambling,especially if you are addicted to it,God won't really give you more chances to win in gambling.Instead,He will give you lot of reasons to realize how stupid you are if you are making gambling as your means of living.Gambling would only be profitable if you are playing on it just to have fun and not making it as a good source of living.

yes there are believers . they are the ones that will include prayers to every activity that they do   , not only on gambling  because they may feel safe from harm whenever they work or go outside and they also feel that they could increase thier luck in the case of playing a gambling   .   aside from believers there were also anti christ or anti god , they are the ones that does not believe on miracle's   . they only believe on thier self and on thier skills  .

Yes, I am sure that it happens too with many people in out there especially if they are playing a traditional gambling game. But some of them cannot win the game even if they keep praying to the GOD so they can win. We don't know what GOD wants for us, and if somehow we can win the game, then we should consider that winning because of we have luck and we should stop the game, use the money to good things and don't come back to the gambling game for a while.

The percentage of winning will definitely hire in this field but keeping them stable and holding them with our hand is very tough job when coming to gambling people will get profit in the starting stage but at the end they don't have the prophet in their hands because of they have lots of inexperience in this field this will be the main reason for losses

Yes, The biggest mistake which people make in gambling is that they do not hold the profits they gain in gambling and put all the seed money plus profit again and again in playing. Once you do this, you will lose everything because no one can win all the time in gambling.

Its their belief so i think its ok as long as there are not depending on that one. God of winning is being used in the meaning of Luck. Since we can win in gambling only through our luck so if one has good luck he can really earn good form this. Also all the gamblers consider themselves lucky and with that mindset they come to play gambling. I never hear any gambler who say that he is unlucky and still trying his luck in gambling.

Talking about of religion is kinda debatable in all aspects. I wouldn't mind if it is okay with you to gamble as long as what you think is right. People have their own point of view, your thoughts could be right to you but you should consider too that OP's thought might be right too. So, there is no right or wrong here. Gambling has already been here before we born, i think this is how the competition getting more interest.

Do gambling is not a mortal sin not unless if do it in the other form that could harm others. But in some religious group they strictly prohibited people to go in gambling.

Hard to said this but we must be truth to ourself.  Gambling is the most risky among all the investments ventures and it is really very difficult for you to continue making profits.  I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.

In other words, you pray to the gods that he will pour luck in your investment in gambling. I think it's acceptable to just believe in luck than to believe there are strategy in gambling because it is where greed start and addiction will follow.

Gambling is very fun and addictive as long as you have the capital that you can afford to lose, but yes it is more fun if you keep winning with your capital in a long run that's the best feeling ever to happen in your life. May the luck be with all the gamblers but God won't help you achieve your dream when your way is the wrong way, gambling is forbidden in the law of God. But if you want entertainment surely gambling is addictive as I say.

Correct, as long as everything is within our control and done in moderation, I guess its ok regardless of what sect you're in. The problem is that people get's addicted, enter into a lot of financial and personal problems. It's all about responsibility and self-control and just enjoy yourself, no need to call God and bring you luck.

That is surely what we need to do in gambling. We have seen many people got to deeper in the gambling games and they cannot stop like the first time they played. They are losing the money, and they were losing self-control and they also losing responsibility too because once they are losing money, that is the time they will start to chase the money again and again. And in the end, they become an addicting person in gambling.
