"Bitcoin's intrinsic value is the amalgamation of the platform, its users, and its development."

I don't agree.

There are many other attempts to create a cryptocurrency before, but all of them failed. Do you know why? Because they were centralized. Bitcoin was the first truly decentralized.

Actually, you do agree. You agree that the intrinsic value of Bitcoin comes from its "platform" because you state that Bitcoin is successful because it is decentralized.

Well, I agree with that. However I don´t agree with this statement, which I quoted:

Now I know some other more famous crypto influencers have mentioned things like decentralization, cost of production, etc., but I think those things are a means to an end and not the endgoal themselves. Like decentralization is for the purpose of censorship resistance and fraud prevention.

Decentralization is the end, not "the means to an end." The whole goal of bitcoin is to create an independent monetary system..

many think that bitcoin this year is the end of bitcoin life, but actually that is not true, because life in 2019 is still long and bitcoin can make price increases someday it will become expensive from current prices.

No, Bitcoin will not end from 2018, it has entered 2019, indeed there seems to be no change to the bitcoin chart, but believe this is still the beginning for Bitcoin many experts predict Bitcoin may rise yet the right time about that, this will all passand Bitcoin will find more glory.

Is believing ourself is very important to be stay in any field if you think Bitcoin will die then it kind will not help you at any time if you trust in Bitcoin then you can definitely get any way to get profit that's why Bitcoin will stay for long time like this.
Yes, you're both right when you said bitcoin is not over but I believed you both misunderstand the OP either because he was actually asking the forum question in other make some amendment about his project. However, there's alot of news surrounding crypto currency this days and with such news bitcoin definitely just beginning.

Another important consideration, does Bitcoin have to be BTC? Personally I'm willing to go with whichever is the most censorship resistant, secure, immutable, etc. I think Monero is pretty good too.

Fair point but I think Bitcoin has more than belief to back up its value.

I like the start of the video but there are some good critics that go against the others that say its a scam. I mean I understand why you would put the "bitcoin is a scam" people there because they are literally idiots and so old that they do not want bitcoin to succeed because if bitcoin and crypto succeeds that means the end of their time. However, "is bitcoin dying" and news outlets that shows "bitcoin sinks under $4k!" is actually true journalism.

Bitcoin did went under $4k (I think its under right now too) and considering they are just giving information objectively sometimes, thats a true statement, from $20k to $4k is a crash and is it dying is a valid question. Are they doing it in a bad manner to make it look even worse? We don't really know but a video where people that say bitcoin crashed and bitcoin is a scam are two veeeery different stuff.

Bitcoin is just used for some reasons to people to make their self rich with this. And somehow a lot of people doesn't even care what could it do in the future.

That's not true. None would ever think that will get rich this Bitcoin. Of course, there are many people that they think of getting rich by owning BTC but this is just a small portion. If these people haven't studied about it in the first place and came for the technology itself then they just harm the cryptocurrency community by being part of it and bringing toxicity.

Unfortunately, he is right though. Most people come into the crypto space to become an instant millionaire. I've seen enough to know this much is 100% true. I myself came into this space because of a youtube video that said I'm gonna be a millionaire. Almost 2 years later and I'm still not a millionaire but I'm here for good.

Bitcoin is far from being over. This is a new technology that is still in it's formative years and still has more room for growth and improvements. Unfortunately, must people came in when the prices was at peak and with the way it is now, it seems over but that's not it. We are just getting started.

I am tired of these new people who joined cryptocurrency recently asking if Bitcoin is over or has the bubble popped?

If we compare cryptocurrency with stocks, then yes the bubble has been popped and bitcoin is over after losing 800 billion $ (total marketcap) in just 1 year.

But wait this IS NOT stocks, total marketcap is still at 100 billion $ this means that cryptocurrency is not over yet. Yes, this was the worst bearmarket ever but just relax and try to buy the bottoms.

I've seen a lot of them here lately, that keeps asking whether bitcoin is dead? or is this the end of cryptocurrency? These people just came out of nowhere that keep asking the same question. When in fact no one really knows what would be the outcome in the future and we only speculate base on the chart that we see.

Let’s move on and let’s just learn from our experience last year, this is a new year and a new hope for us. Bitcoin will not die anytime this year or even in the next 10years. We should believe on that and never think for the negative things. Buy bitcoin but always remember when to sell its good to take some profit sometimes.

Decentralization is freedom that is easier for us to manage in accordance with what we want. Bitcoin will not end but Bitcoin will continue to run towards a better future.
It can still be an important point that bitcoin will survive and envelop various people in the future, even today. Although indeed the development cannot be predicted for sure, but it will still provide a positive side to the economic life of many people as an alternative benefits
Just like what is happening right now with the ETF, it creates a positive hope to those hodlers and future investors. Bitcoin is not over, and the may continue to fall but it doesn’t meant that its over. Believe on the whales in this market, they will never let bitcoin to die or else they will also lose big money. Always look for the positive side in the market, and have more confidence.

it is undeniable that the intrinsic value of bitcoin is a combination of platforms, users and developers. where the three elements are the key to controlling the price of bitcoin in the market. but in my opinion, some crypto also has the same intrinsic value as bitcoin. so that's not the reason that bitcoin will end.

As long as there are nodes on the Bitcoin network continuing to run the software, then it will not die. There is a reason Bitcoin is the top coin and none of the attempts before it were successful. Blockchains allow for decentralization and that is what made Bitcoin even possible. You can't just shrug that amazing concept off as something small.

Be patient to deal with bitcoin, because bitcoin has good development and will have a safe value even though many are not satisfied with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is growing and will add a lot of creativity to the future.

From the start that we join this cryptocurrency, we are already if what will happen in the near future ,whether good or not nice , but this is the characteristics of bitcoin ,volatile currency , but it does not mean it will vanish just easily ,as this  market is in falldown, I believe it is just temporary and it will recover in the future days ,when things will be iron out.

To kickstart crypto 2019 I decided to make a Bitcoin mini documentary: https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8

Things I talked about:

1. Bitcoin's intrinsic value
2. How it could help underdeveloped countries
3. How it could help developed countries
4. Censorship

Now I wanna ask your opinions on my main point which is:

"Bitcoin's intrinsic value is the amalgamation of the platform, its users, and its development."

Now I know some other more famous crypto influencers have mentioned things like decentralization, cost of production, etc., but I think those things are a means to an end and not the endgoal themselves. Like decentralization is for the purpose of censorship resistance and fraud prevention.

So you I wanna know your opinions guys. Agree or disagree doesn't matter as long as you explain your point. https://youtu.be/WgxD5DmS6z8
I do agree with your point and decentraliziation create equality.  Control created the inequality we are having today in fiat system  many countries are underdeveloped today because of control by the developed countries over they financial system.  If the Third World countries desiring to break that holds then they must embrace blockchain technology and bitcoin. If not the scamming activities that drives many investors away from cryptocurrencies many people could have began to live an independent live as at today and so many of us could have forget if our governments is doing well or not.

I don't believe in whales though. I dont think its the whales that want to support the network. They are here merely to manipulate the market. Rather, its the true believers and hodlers that support the network. Some of them may even realize that they are losing money just to keep the network secure. Whales don't care if Bitcoin dies as long as they already made money from it. Who needs freedom when you're a whale anyway? Only common men yearn for freedom
