I don't think that bitcoin is over, I think is just rested for a while. It's like a wine under brewing. Time will come again that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will come into light.  I believe that there are still a lot of good projects out there that will be helpful to many people.

There will be a certain point when bitcoin will come to its near end. If we are being honest we are never going to witness the disappearance of the American dollar either, what we could see is the American dollar falling from its position of dominance among other currencies, and it is fair to ask us what currency could replace it and so far there is not really a strong candidate and it is even possible that some international organisms decide to propose a world currency backed by a basket of currencies in which the American dollar could be included.

But at that point it will be very clear that the economy is not going in the way everyone expects and this will be a great opportunity for bitcoin not only to grow in value against those fiat currencies but to begin to be used for its main purpose which is to be a currency.
