I don't think ETH can easily surpass their ATH back then at $1400 while now it's still struggling around $155.

Let's pray that this Constantinople Ethereum hard fork will not affect the market negatively the way Bitcoin cash hard forks crashed the market the last time? I am not particularly excited about the hard forking.

NOWA is clearly a scam coin with fake team, so I don't think we need further explanation. But ETHCV on the other hand, I might have the same opinion with you that ETHCV is not as good as Constantinople since it has no track record at all, but I think it will still give small impact to Ethereum price, and maybe still worth investing. And it is legit, however the wether it is a shitcoin or not, it is debatable. And yeah I agree that Constantinople is the most promising.

What @kenzawak says is true. ETCV is the only shitcoin (Oops. It looks like only an ERC20 token).
And I don't think ETCV has impacted the ETH prices. Why? Just go to ETCV Github page. You will have the same thoughts as me.

As far as I know, in 2019 ETH will be updated, not hardfork, so if it's true there will be a hardfork, we have to get ready.

I heard some people said if it will crash market too, hope that thing not really happen. But if hardfork sometime price get pumped because people will think they get free coins and hold many of primary coins.

I think that this update will benefit the Ethereum network, but this will make the mining even less profitable. I think Vitalik wants to kill the mining before Ethereum switches to PoS.

I saw this same article everywhere. Constantinople is a serious stuff as I think cause it is accepted by all the big exchanges and almost everyone active in this crypto ecosystem aware about it. But other two fork not looks good to me. Is they using this hype to grow their project. Cause nowa looks not good to me personally. And Ethereum classic vision looks good but no admin at telegram channel and they are not clearing anything to the community. So I think they just using Constantinople hard fork hype and advertising their project. They don't have a future.

Yea ~ we can't miss the opportunity to trade when the hard fork takes place. The price of ETH is increasing every day when ETH's most important event is on January 16. I invested a little and bought ETH in December and held it until the end of January to get some profit from it.

maybe this will be difficult for ETH holders with the news that ETH is doing a hard fork together. but I believe ETH requests will increase with this hard fork. and I saved a portion of my ETH for profit from the ETH hard fork

Yes, your explanation is more than enough. We won't expect anything from a fake team.

ETHCV cannot be concluded as a shitcoin. We need to see the development of this project in the next few months. It needs a time to improve and has reputation on market. I agree with you if shitcoin or not is debatable for now.

The issue with these ETH forks is that many of them won't survive due to the sheer size of the ETH blockchain. Currently its almost 700GB. So if someone decides to fork the ETH coin it needs to use the entire blockchain up till now.

Now the problem is that these coins will have very very small marketcap and will only get listed on small exchanges. However many of these exchanges won't want to list the coins because it requires huge resources since they need to have a full sync of the blockchain.

I wish them luck but I think late 2017 was the year of the BTC forks and its over and done with.

do not be easily affected by this, not necessarily true. I think there are still a lot of irregularities from that, like the first and second numbers in my opinion are not officially issued by the ethereum fork. so it's better to be careful and more careful.

Let's hope that the eth fork will not bring the market to it's knees similar to the bch fork.
