BTC, just like USD has fame and reputation which are totally priceless.
This is why both are the top currencies as speaking of worldwide trading.
Not only btc but other currency and local currency do also have a reputation . many people thinks btc is #1 due to its ranking and value but for me btc isnt really the best because it got some disadvantage ( e.g high fees , slow network , traceable , unstable , etc ) sooner or later btc can possibly be dethrone because if the said issues above wont be fix as soon as possible because like me , people also want some inovation and more better performance so that we can enjoy our lives to its fulliest . |

of course you can see from the market cap the comparison with position 2 is very far.
ETH and RIPPLE always compete to get second place while bitcoin laughs at the top.
no one can beat Bitcoin whether it's a new coin that has superior technology.
they will still use the bitcoin pair.

I also believe in that. I think BTC is like an ancestor of crypto. Everything in the cryptocurrency market depends on BTC. Importantly, the BTC is still the top 1.

probably someday bitcoin will be replaced by any other coin in market cap or price, but everyone has to know that bitcoin was the founder of cryptocurrency. It always will has a big value among cryptocurrency investors and crypto holder, or even new comer to crypto world. The majority of laypeople know cryptocurrency was only bitcoin for now, but we will never knnow what will happen in the future to this crypto market.

Bitcoin has big number of investors and supporters than any other present cryptocurrencies and its market capitalization is still large even it shfdered from sgarp declines in the past. So I believe that bitcoin will remain to be the number one cryptocurrency for many years to come even its price go down. Continued Bitcoin adoption in the future will also further boost its price and capitalization.

If you take for example Ethirium, then, in contrast to it, Bitcoin has such practical and economic demand. If Bitcoin is not used as a means of payment or for transferring large amounts of funds, then Bitcoin will lose its relevance. |

Yes unless there are other use case as important as value transfer or store value then bitcoin may be competing with one of the alternative coins https://www.coingecko.com but it's going to be hard due to network effect bitcoin enjoys |

Many argue that one of the altcoins can probably in the future beat Bitcoin and be number 1 in CoinMarketCap. I believe Bitcoin will be never beaten by any altcoin, especially centralized one, because Bitcoin is decentralized, is the first crypto currency created, and worshipers of Bitcoin will increase over the time.
If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost.
I believe in crypto. But I worship Bitcoin. And all the coming bull runs will be led by Bitcoin.
Never say never, especially in a young and unregulated market. Now there will be a competitor who will be pumped by whales and he will get the maximum demand and reach the level of Bitcoin, I personally believe in such a scenario. |
